Breaking your neck for a record?

We all have heard by now that Payton may not play in the opner against (Ahhhhh) that does not really  matter. IMO what matters is that Here is a very smart person (Payton) thinking about if he should kep jis strek alive or take a chance of getting hurt. Ok, that should be a [no Brainer]. [BUT] it is not clear to US the FANS if he will play.

Where are those who should be screaming at the top of there lungs...NO!!!! what are you teaching the younger players and the POP-WARNER leagues.
To be tough?

Show the hard work Payton is going thru trying to get pyhsically back into playing shape. Is it money, is it pride. This is a moment where you teach and or show the younger players that it is about for the love of the game. Not for a record not for the money.

I'd raher see Peyton open up a camp. coach, or anoucing on TV. Peyton geting money is and will not be a problem.

Payton, pray on this desicison Football seasom will becoming back for the next 10 years, what is the rush?

Ok, Everyone, has a sure fired way they think you should draft. Richard has his pick along with Jamies, and some guys pick the majority players of there favorite team (don’t do that).

For those that need to know i have one 2 championships in 3 years PPL, (that means jack) yes I haw won money, again nice but means nothing with the new season, OK?

Now,3 simple rule(s) to remember:

1. If you don’t know much about the division, do not draft from them, in other words, stay in your division. Do not try and pick players from the West if you know nothing about them.

2. When picking offensive players you must get a tadem 2 players from same team preferable a QB and a WR/TE or RB. (duh)

3. Wavier wire !!!!

Yeah, I know "Ray Ray", to anyone outside of Baltimore is a murderer. But, what he said has a lot of truth to it.
Did you know a large number of workers, mostly behind the scenes, the lady with the broom and dust pan, or the man behind the counter the hands out thebeers and burgers. These people are probably on some kind of government assistance.

Some are supplementing their income so the can provide for there families. These workers that we see but don’t acknowledge with a simple thank you most of the time, do not have the resources to read this Blog, let alone pay for internet service, so what happens to the young at risk people who may have gotten a job thru a rehab program going to do? Or the grandparents trying to provide for themselves, as well as the grandchildren.

The crime will go up because the rent it to high, no A/C and no football means no jobs for many who do not have endorsements, agents and or resources the players have.

Forget that it was Ray Lewis, Stop and think for a just minute…

Firstimer on the Brackets

This year was the first time i actually did the NCAA brackets. I thought, I would try this out seeing the NFL is on a break?
So not knowing or watching much about college basketball, I went along and picked who i thought would win the NCAA Championship.I felt i was starting off good, since i had the upset of Louisville by Morehead, but little did i know, that was it. I have only 1 of the final four correct (N.C.) and i had San Diego winning it all….Wrong!
I will not let this keep me from trying next year, but i will be a bit more knowledgeable, hopefully?

Onetimers do it again

First let me say, my winning this Championship for the 2nd time in 3 years had all to do with this site and all that comes with it. There is a Plethora of information either on and or linked to another information pool.
The Blogging was really exciting because I was able to chat with other owners who had a different perspective on every game. As a IT professional, the Technology is 2nd to none!
The best part was that I beat a team who had beat me earlier in the Season....

Albert Haynesworth

I have been hard ( like most) on "Albert Haynesworth", for good reason, his work ethic and attitude seemed to be pedestrian at best. He seemed to be on a course to a showdown with the "Head Coach". Receiving the check and not performing made his [Albert] character suspect.
I then wondered where is the owner ( snyder) in all this, what is his opinion on this player whom he gave the "NOD" to pay 100 million with 41 million guaranteed? Could it be that when the Skins were courting Albert he was told that the "Defense' would be built around his skills sets, and he wouldfit the defensive schemes?

IMO Albert has been set up! That's right, set up for failure. It happens all the time in the cooperate world every day. So why should the NFL be any different. It is obvious Albert Haynesworth was hired by another "Boss"  whom is no longer part of the organization. So in comes new management andhere comes the problems.
So now, the Skins start the smear campaign. So now we see the same clip showing Albert to be the angry black man who can not be coached. The NFL and the Skins will now try and take this thru a complex array of court proceedings and various meetings thru CBA deadline. this way they will not have to pay him, or will have  made him out to be a "trouble maker".
As for the money, this contract was agreed to before the regime change in Washington  D.C., so why shouldn't he take which was agreed too?
It will probably the last check he receives from the Washington Redskins.

Chasing players

It is amazing how many owners chase certain players after just the first week. owners who have WON in their league knows you need to have role players! Your bench is what you move around, and do not forget your scout team. I follow the golden rule,go with your instincts, gut, intuition whatever you want to call it.
Yes we have several resources to comb thru that give us their opinion, but it is just that, THIER OPINION!
