With the class of 2012 (mostly) in the books, college coaches are now laser-focused on the class of 2013. One recruit who has long been on the radar of many elite programs is E.J. Levenberry.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound linebacker earned U.S. Air Force All-American honors as a junior after making 151 tackles and eight sacks on a Hylton (Woodbridge, Va.) squad that finished 11-1.
He's been hearing from colleges since his freshman season and has taken numerous visits. Now, the process is intensifying.
Levenberry has a short list of teams that have been working overtime to land him.
"Florida State, Michigan, Florida and Notre Dame are on me hard," Levenberry told MaxPreps, later adding Ohio State to that group.
Levenberry has no trips currently planned, outside of a visit to the Big House for Michigan's spring game. He's already taken unofficial trips to both Florida and Florida State.
