- Some more on Penn State commitment Anthony Stanko, who could be the foundation for a good Nittany Lions recruiting class.

- Talented quarterback Zeke Pike will take an unofficial visit to Michigan tomorrow.

- Defensive end Sheldon Rankins recently picked up an offer from Nebraska.

- Very cool story of offensive lineman Joshua Bembery's performance at a local NUC Combine.

- An interview with offensive tackle Erik Magnuson, who has offers from Arizona, Miami, Michigan, Oregon, Stanford, and UCLA.

It's Friday but the phrase uttered most today is not, 'what are you doing this weekend?' It is, of course, 'how's your bracket doing?'

- Twins Chris and Demitrious Davis plan to take in Arkansas this spring after receiving scholarship offers from the Hogs a few days ago.

- Speaking of Bobby Petrino's team, top offensive tackle Jordan Diamond is planning to visit in two weeks while on spring break.

- A list of the new scholarship offers that have gone out from Michigan State.

- With his basketball season over, one of the top quarterbacks in the nation, Zeke Pike, is planning out what schools he is going to visit.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. May the luck with the Irish be with you and your NCAA tournament bracket today.

- Discussing Oklahoma commit Sterling Shepard and his strengths and weaknesses.

- Georgia signee Sterling Bailey just had surgery to repair a torn labrum suffered during his high school season.

- Quarterback prospect Zeke Pike is scheduled to visit Arkansas on April Fool's Day.

- Kansas State will have a receiver grayshirt and will enroll next January.

- A quick UCLA offer update at this point in the recruiting cycle.

- One of the top defensive players in the state of Texas, linebacker Derek David, was charged with sexual assault. He had his offer from Texas Tech pulled on Sunday.

Terrible news out of Japan late last night as a massive earthquake struck the region. Thoughts and prayers go out to the people affected. On to the recruiting links:

- One of the top quarterbacks in the nation, Zeke Pike, picked up offers from Maryland, Miami, Florida State and Colorado. He is planning on unofficially visiting Georgia, Florida State, North Carolina and LSU over his spring break.

- Several Army All-American Bowl invites were handed out yesterday, with offensive tackle Avery Young, offensive tackle Jessamen Dunker and tight end Kent Taylor all being honored.

- Lots of recruiting tidbits from the state of Georgia, including an update on Georgia Tech and former Oregon commit, quarterback Jerrard Randall.

- Big time running back Jonathan Williams picked up another offer yesterday, this one from Vanderbilt.

- Arkansas signed one prospect from Virginia in 2011 and hopes to grow the pipeline by adding another in 2012.

- Texas A&M and Arkansas are two of the programs after Texas athlete Corey Thompson.

Friday Offer Tracker

The recruiting news is a bit slow heading into a weekend full of camps and combines. That hasn’t stopped a few schools from sending out (well, actually informing via phone) a few scholarship offers today. Here’s a quick look at a few that went out today.

- Stone Mountain (Ga.) linebacker Markuss Eligwe grabbed offers from Illinois and Florida.
- Pinellas Park (Fla.) Jeremi Powell added offers from SEC teams Florida and South Carolina.
- Encino (Calif.) offensive lineman Jordan Simmons picked up a Pac-12 offer from Colorado.
- After getting lineman Aundrey Walker out of Glenville (Ohio) from the class of 2011, USC offered defensive back Devan Bogard, in addition to Ohio State. USC also offered Detroit (Mich.) corner Terry Richardson.
- Orchard Lake (Mich.) linebacker James Ross snagged an offer from Illinois.
- Kaysville (Utah) defensive end Troy Hinds picked up an offer from Oklahoma.
- Edgewood (Ky.) quarterback Zeke Pike added offers from Miami, Michigan and Florida State.
- Mississippi State left an offer for Norcross (Ga.) wide out Jason Croom.
