Pujols getting hurt

I can't believe that Albert Pujols went down with that horrific injury a couple of days ago. As a die hard Cards fan when your franchise player goes down and won't come back for 6 weeks your in trouble. I watched it over 20 times just watching Mr. Pujols drop down in pay but there is no point of sitting on your bed and crying like a baby for and go into a mid summer crisis until Albert Pujols comes back. To all of the Brewer fans that said to me PUJOLS IS INJURED. I just said shut it and there still in First place (i live in Milwaukee). But for the Cardinals to play for the divison and the pennet Matt Holliday and Lance Berkman have to play huge in this six week stint. With Albert Pujols out , Holliday has to get bumped to the 3 spot where Albert has to play. ANd what happened to the pitching. We just got shut out against The Phillies with Cliff Lee pitching a comple game. Our role players like Jon Jay, Ryan Theriot, Skip Schumaker, Yadier Molina and Daniel Descalso have to step up tremendoulsly on the hitting and rattle the bats. Chris Carpenter has to definley improve from 1-6 and the strong pitching of Jake Westbrook, Kyle Loushe, andKyle Mccelan and Jamie Garcia have to pitch like they started the year. Come on St. Louis also show some team spirit. I hope the Cardinals play in October.

The Finals

Wow, that was one of the most exciting finals ever in my point of view. With Dirk Nowitski's left hand lay up and Chris Bosh's left corner jay, it was the teamwork from the Dallas Mavericks that won the series. The Mavericks won because they had key role players that stomped the role players of the Miami Heat. One of the reasons was .. wait for it.. Jason Terry. The guy is the coolest cat on the block always with a smile on his face and is a great sniper and also has crafty dribbling moves. Also the other Jason, Jason Kidd played a fantastic point guard role in the playoffs with amazing passes and great team leadership and he also shot the three effectively down the stretch. Shawn Marion played well in his 3 or 4 poistion and he scored a lot in the paint with his off balance shots. Kids or adults who are reading this, DON'T COPY SHAWN MARION'S JUMP SHOT. He usually scored 15+ and helped the   Mavs with defense and post shots down the stretch. JJ Barea, the guy  is a darting warter bug from Northeastern. He is very versitle but he shot a little too much down the stretch but was electrifying with his offense and crafty passes. Deshawn Stevenson was also clutch.

Red hot Cards.

There are many reasons why the Cardinals are doing so well coming on to Vets. Day. First of all its there pitching rotation- not Chris Carpenter- That includes 4 5 game winners that are Jake Westbrook, Kyle Lohse, Kyle McCellan, and Jamie Garcia. Also Matt Holliday, and Lance Berkman are hitting great averages with a lot of power including hmers and RBI's which covers Alberts down year. Role players Jon Jay and Allen Craig are stepping up adn also the Cardinals catcher Tony Cruz made an amazing debut a week ago which adds some depth. I can't believe the Cards are doing so well because Albert is hitting .257 which has taken a dip but he has 8 homers and 28 rbi's which isn'yt horrible. I hope the Redbirds can stay alive till the playoffs.

Why the Heat beat the Bulls

The Heat beat the Bulls for various reasons. 1, Whenever one of the Big 3 was having a bad night, his superstar friend was puting up great numbers just how James adn Bosh picked up Wade in game 2. Second, Udois Haslem is playing a key role in the playoffs and role players- Mike Bibby, James Jones and the Kansas grad Mario Chalmers are playing pretty darn good. Third, Rose can go off in the scoring colum and even if he is having an off night, Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer might each score 20 but it's not going to help. The Heat are playing AS A TEAM now and are going to be beating the Mavs in 6 games just like in 2006

Cards losing to the Reds

I was pretty mad after the Cardinals got swept by the Reds. Since they got swept they are now in 2nd place with a 22-19recored and 1.5 games out of 1st place. This exactly happened last year with the Redbirds getting an early lead and then falling to the reds in the middle of the year and never being able to catch up. 1st off all the Cards were doing well because off the hot starts off Lance and Matt Holliday and also the surprising arms of Kyle Mcellean, JAmie Garcia & also Klye Louhse. Klye M was the biggest surprise ment because I knew Loushe could do it because he pitched 15 wins in o8.  I liked their start and i think once Albert and Carpenter hit there stride, the Cards will start rolling. I am going to wear my Cardinal Albert Pujols jersy for good luck.
