Weeks-less Brewers provide great matchup

Rickie Weeks' injury has been a huge loss for both the Brewers and fantasy teams alike. But the Brewers stagnant offense without their leadoff man has been a great source of fantasy success for opposing pitchers.

Starting pitchers against the Brewers when Weeks starts:
36 games, 9-14 record, 5.24 ERA, 170 strikeouts (4.72 K per GS ), 83 walks (2.31 BB per GS ), 1.42 WHIP

Starting pitchers against the Brewers when Weeks doesn't start:
11 games, 7-1 record, 2.42 ERA, 61 strikeouts (5.55 K per GS ), 17 walks (1.55 BB per GS ), 1.09 WHIP

Don't be fooled by a batting average

After a terrible start to the season last year that culminated in Weeks being sent down to the minors, he has been one of the best leadoff men in all of baseball. Don't believe me? He has the stats to prove it

Weeks has played 65 games since returning from Triple A Nashville on August 10th, 2007. If you project the numbers he's put up since then over 162 games here is what you get for a full season:

BA: .245
H:
142
R:
160
RBI:
62
HR:
35
SLG:
.485
SB:
50
CS:
2
OBP:
.404
BB:
127
HBP:
30
OPS:
0.889
