Barry Zito's secret weapon?

Just when Barry Zito had been pitching well enough to warrant 12-team mixed league consideration, he goes out and gets rocked by Seattle. That's typical Zito, right? Well before you go out and cut him in your league you might want to realize that Zito, who has formed a bit of a connection with Pablo Sandoval behind the plate, was throwing to Bengie Molina that game. Now that may not seem like a big deal at first, but fantasy players may want to note an interesting split with Zito.

Barry Zito's numbers over the last two seasons when Pablo Sandoval does not catch:
33 starts, 183 innings, 7-22 record, 5.51 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, 122 strikeouts (3.70 K per start )

Zito's numbers when Sandoval does catch:
8 starts, 53 innings, 4-0 record, 2.72 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 35 strikeouts (4.38 K per start )
