The Patriots got outplayed.....

Who would have thought it?  The Patriots and the Giants played a classic super bowl on Sunday.  The team that played the best walked away as champions.  The patriots had there chances but when it really mattered they couldn't keep the Giants out of the endzone.  As a patriot fan this is not the end of the world.  The Patriots put on quite a show during this season.  There were many records broken and hopefully the core of this team will be back to defedn the The AFC championship.  You can't win them all but this game was heartbreaking in many ways.  When it looked like we had the Giants down and out Eli Manning came through with one of the clutchest plays in super bowl history.  As a fan I have to tip my hats to them.  You can't win them all.

Hopefully this offseason the patriots will address some needs that are glaring to us fans.  We need to get some bigger CB's, some youth at LB and some Safety help.  This team is set up to be a super bowl contender for the next 4 or 5 years.  This loss is not the end of the world.  The patriots have still won 3 super bowls in the last 8 years.  There is not another franchise in the NFL that would not change seats with us.  Congrats Giants and Hopefully we will see a rematch next super bowl.

Is it baseball season yet

We're going to the Super Bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a day for Patriot fans.  Tom Brady played probably the poorest game of his professioal career, yet thanks to the defense and Laurence Maroney we are headed to our 4th Super Bowl since 2000.  Today the Chargers put up a great effort but it wasn't enough to derail the Patriots pursuit of history.  After years of misery it feels great to be living in the Boston area and being able to watch Championship teams every year.  We will soon find out who our next opponent will be.  Be it the Packers or the Giants the Patriots will have a chance to establish themselves as the greatest dynasty the NFL has ever seen.
