No quit in Moss -- at least this time

Randy Moss has quit before. He's quit on plays. On a series. Or two. Or three. Or a few dozen. He's quit on seasons. He's quit on teams.

But I refuse to believe Moss will go out this way. His reported retirement should be taken extremely lightly. The first major injury a team gets, Moss will be back. The first time any team calls and feeds Moss' ego, he'll be back.

Team: "Randy, we need you."
Moss: "You do, really?"
Team: "Yes."
Moss: "Sign me up."

Moss is a moody and emotional superstar. He's likely ticked that no team was breaking down his doors to sign him. In speaking to people around football before his alleged retirement, there was little interest in signing Moss to big money. Or even medium money. Teams were trying to get Moss on the cheap, and that probably ticked him off to no end. So he huffed and quit. Because that's what Moss does. He quits and comes back, quits and comes back.

And he'll be back again.
