What is Christmas? Why do we give gifts? What happened to merry(not Mary)?
In this entry, i'm going to discuss Christmas. First of all, What is Christmas?
Of course, almost everyone knows the story of Christmas. God sent Jesus to Earth to become a human and save us from our sins. That's just a broad view of it. God did more than just send His son. God had everything planned from the moment Adam and Eve had sinned. It seems like everywhere i go, people could care less about what actually happened on the first Christmas. There's a reason it's called Christmas. Christ came down to Earth - from His high throne, to a sinful and filthy place - to become a man; a real, earth-like, human man. That is probably the biggest miracle God has ever performed.
Why do we give gifts?
This is a topic that a lot of people don't argue over. Everyone likes to receive gifts. Some people enjoy giving gifts, too. But why do we give and receive gifts? Why is gift giving associated with Jesus and His arrival on Earth? It stems back to when Jesus was first born. The Bible tells us that there were 3 wise men(however, many have speculated that there were more than 3 wise men)who gave Jesus gifts to celebrate the arrival of Christ the King. Over many centuries this gift giving has turned into somewhat of a distraction from the reason of Christmas/gifts. Don't get me wrong, i love gifts just as much as the next person, but i think people(including me)need to be more mindful of why gifts are given.
What happend to merry(not Mary)?
This last item of discussion is about different sayings we have around Christmas. I'm sure i'm not the first person to notice this. "Happy Holidays" seems to be taking over for "Merry Christmas." So that begs the question: what happened to merry? The Merry is coming out of Christmas. Heck, even the Christmas is starting to come out of Christmas. There's nothing wrong with saying "Happy Holidays", but please don't think that "Merry Christmas" is some out-dated or strange saying.
Just some things to think about! God bless, and have a Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone! This month i'm going to talk about God's gift of eternal life.
In the book of John, Jesus says for someone to obtain eternal life that person must be born again. Jesus is just saying that you have to accept Christ as your Saviour to have eternal life. He wants to be apart of your life and He wants to give you His day-by-day blessings.
Romans 10:9,11 says: 9"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved" 11"As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
God has given us a great gift. All you have to do is accept that gift and let the Holy Spirit come into your heart. Let God take control of your life. He's the best Father you'll ever have.

Hello everyone! This month i'm going to talk about Laminin. Some of you might have heard of Laminin, but for those of you who haven't,you've come to the right place(or the right blog). I'm going to describe it in my blog.
Laminin is a molecule in the body. It holds the human body together. Well heres the cool thing. The shape of this molecule is in a T shape or a cross. Isn't that amazing? Just another way God shows he is always looking out for us. The scriptures say "He will never leave you nor forsake you". And that is so very true. God will never leave you and He'll never forsake you. Isn't it great that you have someone looking out for you that never takes a break, or goes on vacation? He's there 24/7/365. Talk to him. Let Him become apart of your life. He's a wonderful person.
Here is a link of photos of Laminin: mudpuppy.files.wordpress.com/2007/0

Hey everyone! This month i'm going to talk about the choices we make.
As we go throughout life sometime or another we'll have to make a choice. It can be something small like "what should i have to eat?" or "which day should i book a doctors' appointment?" and sometimes it can be a choice that is big like "do i really want to apply for this job?". It can be a big choice or a small choice, an important choice or a not-so-important choice; whatever it is we still have to make up our minds. Some choices effect us right when we make a decision, others will effect us in the future. A smart choice that you make when you're young will most likely pay off in later years.
The most important choice that you'll ever have to make in your lifetime is wheather or not to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour. God always has His arms open. He wants to come into your life and save you from your sins. I hope that you make right decisions in your life. God Bless!

Why do we have to take care of our bodies? Why can't we go on without food for days without feeling weak? It's the way God created us. He wants us to take good care of our bodies. You may ask, "Why?"(I know i have before) Well, God cares so much about us and wants us to take care of our selves, because we are His creation, His proof of His wonderful works. In 1st Corinthians it says that the body(us) is God's temple. This may sound weird because we are the ones that actually need to worship Him. After all, God is all-powerful and He is the only one that is completely righteous. But, as i said before, we are God's creation. We are His way of telling people about Him and His glories. He wants us to keep our bodies healthy because He cares for us, and He wants us to spread His word around to other people.
Please make sure to stay healthy and praise God for all that He's done in your life. Have a great week!

I have recently converted my blog from talking about games and stats of players, to a blog that will talk about God and His blessings.
My first series will be on the free will that God has given all of us. Why did he give us free will? If God wanted us to follow Him, why did He give us a choice? Well, He gave us a choice -or free will- because He cares about us and He wants us to be able to make the right decisions on our own. That doesn't mean that He just leaves you alone in a predicament. God is with you always. He doesn't make every decision for you but He will guide you through them. God wants everyone to follow Him, and go to Heaven, too. Some people wont, though, because He gave everyone free will.
I hope you make good decisions in your life. Have a great week everyone!

I was very surprised to see the Pacers come out in this game and win by 20 points. All the players played great. Danny Granger scored 23 points, and was perfect from the Free Throw line. In fact all of the starters were perfect from the Free Throw line( Jeff Foster didn't shoot any, though ). Foster and Granger got a total of 18 rebounds that proved useful in the game. Overall it was a nice, 105-85, win over the Miami Heat.

The Indiana Pacers went into this game coming off of a two game winning streak. They were( and still are )trying to make a play-off push. They started off great in the first half, by scoring 66 points against the Timberwolves's 49 first half points. Danny Granger had 32 points, and Mike Dunleavy had 25. Those two lead the team in scoring. 6 other players scored, including 3 bench players and 3 other starters. They all played well and did their part for the team in the 124-113 win over Minnesota. This win made the Pacers win streak extend to 3 games.
