RFG's Eliminator League Week 20

Well, all in all we had a pretty bad week, but wait! David Reutimann won, that must mean that Mikeyfan got a win... oh wait, no he didn't... nobody (cough, Edwardsfan) even picked the second placeman of Carl Edwards! We will just have to see how bad things turned out.

Top Lineup: David Reutimann (+10 handicap), Carl Edwards- 375

PODIUM

1.) ILL55INI-            330 (Gordon did great, Kahne with his handicap did great as well.)

Bored at Work-         330

3.) Mikeyfan-            317  (Despite not picking Reutimann he did pretty good.)

200 CLUB

4.) Floridawhite-        268

5.) Edwardsfan-         258

6.) Spikesgator-        250

7.) Obxyankeefan-    241

8.) Hard to Beat-       239

11.) Berlyn-               207

DANGER ZONE

12.) Roushfenwayguy- 199

13.) Coach-                197 (Busch bros. not very potent this time.)
           VS.
      Fsu1dogs-            197

15.) Tigersman-         183

16.) Section-              159 (Look at the bright side, things can only go up from here right???)

RAK-                         159

18.) Bradman-           156 (Falls down on his face again, truly a surprise after getting runner-up last season.)

So all in all, not very great... we had 7 people below 200, and I'm pretty sure that's a new record, also the closest person to the podium not in the podium is 32 points off even getting 300... not the kind of buffers people were looking for with a track like Indy coming up... and with two people getting eliminated this session, there are a lot of people that will be scrambling to make sure they get good picks or they could go home.

ILL55INI-            7

(Some drivers maybe added to this list to reduce their handicaps for Indy, though unlikely.)

Well, over the last 5 Indy starts, either Tony Stewart or Jimmie Johnson have won all of them, so I'll pick Jimmie, and since I can't pick Tony, I'll go with Mr. top 5s a lot Jeff Gordon.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 19

Oh the carnage that is Daytona... I really should have put a safety pick in for this week shouldn't I? Anyway, 9 people were still able to find the winner, though most struggled with their second driver... after that big wreck, and wrecks all over it made things really bad for this week, we will just have to see how bad it is.

Top Lineup: Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne (+10 handicap)- 375

PODIUM

1.) Obxyankeefan-   671 (355) (+5) Best lineup chosen this week, the only one with two drivers in the top 5!

2.) Section-              657 (346) (+5) Had an amazing week where so many others struggled.

3.) ILL55INI-            648 (288) (-1) Thanks to Harvick his Stewart pick didn't blow him up.

NON-PODIUM 600 CLUB

4.) Tigersman-         646 (355) (+5)

5.) RAK-                   629 (269) (-2) Avoids havoc due to random autopicks... must have been his strategy...

6.) Spikesgator-        610 (245) (-5) Well Kahne was a great pick at least.

7.) Hard to Beat-       606 (355) (+7)

500 CLUB

8.) Fsu1dogs-           573 (291) (+4)

9.) Bored at Work-    549 (346) (+8) (Biggest mover) HUGE rebound from last week!

10.) Bradman-            542 (220) (-5) Well at least the handicap made Ragan's horrible finish seem like a 31st.

11.) M56Nascar-          538 (208) (-7) Jr. did good... as for Kyle Busch...

12.) Edwardsfan-         512 (225) (-1) Edwardsfan's faith in Edwards paid off this week.

13.) Chokin Colts-       510 (244) (0)

400 CLUB

14.) Floridawhite-        485 (174) (-7)

15.) Mikeyfan-            479 (251) (+1)

16.) Coach-                448 (251) (+2) Made 250 despite the McMurray pick thanks to handicaps.

17.) Roushfenwayguy- 432 (141) (-8) (Biggest faller) Third worst score ever in this game this week!

SAFETY CLUB

18.) Berlyn-                363 (131) (-3) Tied for the worst score ever in this game for a weekly score...

Well, a fitting end due to this Daytona, Berlyn, the highest average person before this session, ends up last, just showing how unpredictable this race was. And thus due to her ending up in the last position, she will be the activator of the save... which will make things oh that much more interesting the next session, as two people will be eliminatedSurprised!!!

RFG's Eliminator League Week 18

Well, usually when Jimmie Johnson wins, unlike last week, will signify that we had a good week. This time that signal didn't disappoint, as we had someone get a perfect score, and 2 others very close to it. So it looks like everyone did the job of building up their buffers for Daytona, but did everyone do good here? Lets find out!

PODIUM

1.) Spikesgator-         365 (Once again he is sitting pretty after the first segment race with perfect picks.)

2.) ILL55INI-             360 (Got the 1,3 which the 3 almost won too.)

RAK-                        360

NON-PODIUM 300 CLUB

4.) M56Nascar-          330 (Yup, SHR did fantastic with 2 top 5s this race.)

5.) Bradman-            322 (He finally got a winner!)

6.) Obxyankeefan-    316 (Gets very high due to making picks on the pick 3 game... maybe he though he already made picks for this one.)

7.) Floridawhite-        311

Section-                   311

250 CLUB

9.) Roushfenwayguy- 291

Tigersman-              291

11.) Edwardsfan-      287

12.) Fsu1dogs-        282

13.) Chokin Colts     266 (Winner spoiled by JPM's aggression.)

14.) Hard to Beat-    251 (JPM ruined Hard to Beat's score too.)

DANGER ZONE

15.) Berlyn-             232

16.) Mikeyfan-         228

17.) Bored at Work-  203 (Its a good thing he got those bonus points, else he would be in last.)

18.) Coach-             197 (Bad day for JPM puts Coach in a bad position.)

Good news: We had 8 people that finished over 300, 4/9ths of our field, almost 1/2, and our podium is almost perfect, much better than last session. The bad news is that Daytona is next week, so anything can happen, especially those not in the danger zone... and to top it all off, all 3 people that are eligible for the save are in the danger zone... we could very well see it get triggered this session, and it can only be used once.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 17

Well, another week another another win for Jimmie Johnson... except that this was on a road course... and Marcos Ambrose fell due to a technicality... so who picked Jimmie? Just one person was willing to stand up to the plate, and that was the doghouse of Fsu, congratulations to him. Let's see how everyone else did though:

Top Lineup: Jimmie Johnson, Robby Gordon (+10 handicap): 375

PODIUM

1.) Bored at Work-    619 (299) (+1)

2.) Berlyn-                596 (298) (+3) (Shows consistency by getting the same nice score twice.)

3.) Fsu1dogs-           594 (329) (+7) (Biggest mover) (Only person this week with the winner, and it shows.)

500 CLUB

4.) ILL55INI-             593 (320) (+5)

5.) Coach-                 587 (277) (-2) (Common picks drop Coach out of podium.)

6.) Bradman-            585 (299) (+1)

7.) Obxyankeefan-    577 (289) (-1)

8.) Spikesgator-        576 (211) (-7) (His favorite driver throws away his chance of winning the segment.)

9.) Tigersman-          572 (308) (+3)

10.) Edwardsfan-         561 (308) (+3)

11.) M56Nascar-          552 (277) (-3)

12.) Mikeyfan-            549 (299) (+3)

13.) Chokin Colts-       547 (237) (-10) (Biggest faller) (Late issues for Kurt threw Chokin down the ranks.)

14.) Floridawhite-        542 (277) (+4)

16.) Roushfenwayguy- 530 (277) (-3)

17.) Hard to Beat-       496 (313) (+1) (MUCH better than last week...)

18.) Section-               459 (230) (-1) (Score ruined by Bowyer... but at least its better than last week, lol.)

ELIMINATION CLUB

19.) Tenacfan-            377 (197) (0) (It's never a good thing when you pick the last place guy.)

Well, Tenacfan is the one that got the bad end of the stick this segment... both times... and that's how some of our greatest people in recent years (Fsu) have gone down. All in all though, we didn't have a very good segment, with only one person reaching 600, that's pretty bad... and although the new rule was in effect this segment, I don't believe that it had that big of an impact considering the road course. Congratulations to bored at work though, he regained his winning ways and will get the bonus next segment.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 16

Well, Denny Hamlin won the race, I missed it because I was at a friend's house, but it sounds like I didn't miss much... and we only had 2 who were brave enough to say that Hamlin would get his first win here, congratulations to Berlyn and Spikesgator. Now let's get talking about the complaints. Mostly people are complaining about "ALL these new rules", first off there are only 2... maybe 3 but I'm not sure if I would consider the third, and let me explain. First is the road course handicap change... I mean this I did last year and had no complaints, it has to be done or else the results will rig on people like Boris Said, and I don't think that is the problem this time. Second is the save, I said I would activate it starting on the second phase of this game, and I got no complaints last year, it gives bonuses to those that are playing this game better than anything else, and it promotes working for everyone position possible instead of boom or bust, again, I don't think that is the problem. The third, which I'm pretty sure is the problem, is the new rule where you need to pick four unique drivers each segment. First off, let me say that I explained this rule before the game even started on week 1, second, when I said before that if people pick the same driver so many times I would tell them to switch, but I never monitored that, thus why for so many weeks Johnson was picked by so many. This rule only makes it so that you need to pick 1 more driver differently, and it makes sure that people can't stay on the hot driver every race, and makes for more decision making and thinking, and challenge. If I change this rule back, I may if I receive a lot more opposition, but I believe its for better challenge and entertainment overall, and right now I doubt I will take the rule out. Now lets get to the standings:

Top Lineup: Denny Hamlin, Kasey Kahne (+10 handicap)- 380

1.) Spikesgator-       365 (With the switch from Kyle to Kurt he left a lot of people not even in the rear view mirror.)

2.) Bored at Work-    320

3.) Coach-                310 (Hendrick proves a great combination once again at Michigan.)

Chokin Colts-            310

200 CLUB

5.) Berlyn-                298 (Winner can't get her 300 due to Kyle's mediocre performance.)

6.) Obxyankeefan-    288

7.) Bradman-            286

8.) M56Nascar-         275

9.) ILL55INI-            273

10.) Floridawhite-       265 (He picked the best of Roush and didn't even reach 300...)

Fsu1dogs-                265

12.) Tigersman-         264

13.) Roushfenwayguy- 253 (Roush didn't do that great here... and I mean the team.)

Edwardsfan-               253

15.) Mikeyfan-            250 (Roush + Kyle didn't made a +20 bonus able to move him to a good position to take the win this session.)

16.) RAK-                   249

17.) Section-              229

DANGER ZONE!

18.) Hard to Beat-      183

19.) Tenacfan-           180

Well, Roushfenway was predicted for redemption by many at one of their best tracks... but that never happened, which resulted in all these mediocre results. In fact, from 8th to 16th, 9 positions, there is only a 26 point seperation, or just about a 3 point seperation avg. from person to person, or in other words just 1 positional finish rank... its just that close, and if Hard to beat and Tenac do good next week, then there are so many that could be eliminated this week.

Roushfenwayguy- 6

Mikeyfan-            5
ILL55INI-            5
Section-              5

Chokin Colts-      4
RAK-                  4

RFG's Eliminator League Week 15

Wow we got a lot of winners! 7/10ths of all the people that play to be precise. Most people knew that Denny Hamlin was the hot man at Pocono, and he didn't disappoint. Needless to say a lot of people did great this week and those that were even pretty high in the standings that didn't pick Hamlin could find themselves near the bottom. Anyway, lets get right to the standings:

Top Lineup: Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch- 370

PODIUM (650 CLUB)

1.) Mikeyfan-            679 (370) (+4) (Everything is going Mikeyfan's way right now.)

2.) RAK-                   669 (350) (+2)

3.) Berlyn-                651 (301) (-1) (And that is without Hamlin btw.)

NON-PODIUM 600 CLUB

4.) Obxyankeefan-    649 (360) (+5) (Biggest mover) (So close to the perfect lineup...)

5.) Roushfenwayguy- 643 (350) (+2)

6.) Fsu1dogs-           636 (271) (-5) (His lead dies due to his favorite driver.)

7.) Tenacfan-            630 (340) (+1) (He got the 2-3 this week.)

8.) Section-              626 (350) (+2)

9.) Bored at Work-    608 (350) (+2) (Jimmie was as good as Kurt.)

500 CLUB

10.) Spikesgator-        597 (370) (+5) (Biggest mover) (Aren't you glad that I influenced you to take Kyle Busch, lol.)

Floridawhite-               597 (262) (-7) (Had Hamlin... but also had Gordon.)

12.) Coach-                577 (350) (+3)

13.) Tigersman-          571 (326) (0) (Only person that didn't move up or down in the standings.)

14.) M56Nascar-          559 (347) (+3)

15.) Hard to Beat-       554 (317) (-1)

16.) Chokin Colts-       553 (306) (-4)

17.) Edwardsfan-         534 (338) (+1) (Big rebound from last week.)

18.) Bradman-            513 (219) (-12) (Biggest faller) (Kahne in the wreck and not picked Hamlin doomed Bradman to position free fall.)

THE BELOW 500 CLUB!

19.) ILL55INI-             433 (262) (0)

20.) Uscfannv-             344 (173) (-1) (Jeff Gordon sends Uscfann over the edge... and not the good edge.)

Well, a tragic way to end Uscfann's season, he was one of the favorites coming in as he had the best avg. segment finish before the chase started last year, and he was doing great this year, and of course he made it to the chase last year. In addition, Mikeyfan took advantage of his +20 bonus for winning a session to hold off RAK and claim yet another session. He's now won 2 sessions in a row, as well as picking a winning driver 5/6 weeks. I guess that Waltrip retiring was the best thing that ever happened to Mikeyfan fantasy wise, lol.

As of this session, now the rules change to where people can only choose a driver once for the whole session, meaning each person must pick 4 unique drivers each session. Those whom try to abuse this rule will find a 34 point penalty applied at the end of the segment.

Winning Drivers chosen:

Roushfenwayguy- 6 (+1)

Mikeyfan-            5 (+1)
ILL55INI-            5 (+1)
Section-              5 (+1)

Chokin Colts-      4
RAK-                  4 (+1)
Coach-               4 (+1)
Bored at Work-    4 (+1)
Tigersman-         4 (+1)
Fsu1dogs-           4 (+1)

Uscfannv-           3
Floridawhite-        3 (+1)
M56Nascar56-      3 (+1)
Obxyankeefan-    3 (+1)

Berlyn-                2
Spikesgator-        2 (+1)
Edwardsfan-         2 (+1)

Hard to Beat-       1

Bradman-            0
Tenacfan-            0

10 handicap: 16th through 23rd

Ryan Newman (Moved up in points, but still has a handicap)

Joey Logano

Juan Palbo Montoya (yet another chaser last year now with a handicap.)

Jaime McMurray (Daytona points don't last forever.)

Paul Menard (He's falling down the list fast.)

A.J. Allmendinger

Kasey Kahne (He is still here and flying low this year... probably can't wait for Hendrick.)

David Ragan

+20 handicap: 24th through 31st

Brian Vickers

Scott Speed

Brad Kesolowski

David Reutimann (This should lure Mikeyfan over more than once during the next 5 weeks.)

Marcos Ambrose

Sam Hornish Jr.

Elliot Sadler

Bobby LaBonte

Travis Kvapil

+25 handicap: 32nd through 38th

Regan Smith

Robby Gordon

David Gilliland

Kevin Conway

Mike Bliss

Max Papis

+34 handicap (anyone who is below 38th)

Avg. Segment Finish (# in parenthesis= # of segments won.) (Parentheses w/ * = best segment finish for use of tie-breaker.)

(Segment winners not posted here are Uscfannv and Blkhwkfn, since they got eliminated.)

SAFETY ELIGIBLE

1.) Berlyn-               6.71

2.) Mikeyfan-           7.00 (2)

3.) Section-              8.57

FIGHTING FOR SAFETY (within 1.00 avg. segment finish from 3rd.)

4.) RAK-                  8.71

5.) Obxyankeefan-   9.00 (1) (*1st, 4th, 6th, 7th)

6.) Bored at Work-    9.00 (1) (*1st, 4th, 6th, 10th)

7.) Roushfenwayguy- 9.29

8.) Chokin Colts-       9.57

DOUBLE DIGIT GROUP

9.) ILL55INI-            10.00

10.) Tigersman-          10.71 (1)

11.) Coach-                11.86

12.) Fsu1dogs-           12.71

13.) Floridawhite-        13.29

14.) Hard to Beat-       13.67 [Has 1 less segment scored than everyone else.]

15.) Edwardsfan-        13.86 (*4th)

16.) M56Nascar-         13.86 (*5th (twice))

17.) Spikesgator-       14.57

18.) Tenacfan-           16.57

19.) Bradman-           17.00

Here is the safety plan: if you are in the top 3 in avg. segment finish at the beginning of a segment, you are eligible to use that safety, meaning that if Section, berlyn or Mikeyfan finish last this session, they will not be eliminated, nobody will be. Instead, if the safety is used, the very next segment an addition person will be eliminated! Thus, its not reccomended that you just blow your save since you will have double the chance of going out the next segment should you do so. If someone takes over Section, or either of the other 2 in avg. segment finish for next session AND the save is not used, then that person will gain eligibility and the person now outside the top 3 will lose their eligibility.

Right now I would like to talk about the chase as well, though not finalized, currently we have 13 people that will enter the chase, so this is how it will work: The first segment (first two races of the chase) will eliminate 2 people, the restriction for this segment will be that you can't change out both your drivers! The Second Segment (next 3 races) will eliminate 3 people, the restriction for this segmetn will be that you can't use the same lineup through any of the three weeks, and you can't keep the same driver for all 3 either! The final segment (last 5 races) will consist of 8 people for the whole cup, the restriction will be that you must choose 10 unique drivers! Should someone activate the save rule, should it come into play this year... either segment 1 or segment 2 will adopt another elimination, as I don't want 9 in the final segment. (not decided which of the two)

For this week at Michigan, I am going to go with two Roush drivers... I just hope it doesn't spell my doom. I'm going with Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth, they are both great here... and I don't want to use Stewart this race.

Next Week: Infineon (handicaps will be revamped so that road course racers are not amazingly easy-to-choose picks.)

Roushfenwayguy- Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth (Juan Pablo Montoya and Tony Stewart pre-set)

Floridawhite- Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle

Section- Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch (Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer pre-set)

RFG's Eliminator League Week 14

Well it seems as if my change from Kyle to Kurt went for the better this week... although Kyle did cut my other driver's tire... anyway, those who picked Jimmie Johnson are likely to see the pain below, and congratz to the 3 that picked Kurt, Berlyn, Fsu, and myself. And in other news, Mikeyfan's streak just got snapped!

Top Lineup: Kurt Busch, Jaime McMurray (+10 handicap)- 380

PODIUM

1.) Fsu1dogs-           365 (Busch bros. puts speculation of Fsu slipping this season to bed!)

3.) Floridawhite-        335

NON-PODIUM 300 CLUB

4.) RAK-                   319

5.) Mikeyfan-            309 (Uses his 50 handicap/bonus points to bring him over 300.)

Uscfannv-                   171

Well, those that picked Johnon are all on the bottom... besides Chokin Colts, all the people that picked Johnson finished below everyone else that didn't pick him, that means that all of the people in the bottom 6 picked Johnson... ouch! Warned you guys that Johnson was risky, lol. Anyway, hopefully next week will be better for some people, or else we could have a low scoring session for some that decide to worship and follow Johnson.

REMINDER: Starting next session, you will need to switch out both your drivers from the lineup, not just 1, so more thinking will need to go into making your lineups each week.

RFG's Eliminator League Week 13

Well, another week, another domination by Jimmie Johnson that goes down in flames... so 8 of our people suffered... well maybe not suffered... but compared to what he should have got people will suffer. On the flip side, 7 people got the win, including... well... how about I just don't say his name, Mr. "I just got 4 wins in a row, but not with Martin Truex Jr." Anyway, with the Jimmie Johnson bad Kyle Busch good this time, things should be pretty similiar to last week, lets see how things went:

Numbers in parenthesis as followed (points this week) (standings for this week's picks only) (pos. gained/lost)

Top Lineup: Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton- 365

PODIUM

1.) Mikeyfan-            682 (322) (3) (0) ( (Mikeyfan gets a session win after picking 4 consecutive winning picks.)

2.) ILL55INI-            680 (320) (4) (-1) (Got the winner, and Gordon finished ahead of Truex... but he didn't lead a lap.)

3.) Berlyn-                670 (335) (2) (+1) (Used her favorite driver to double her amazing score from last week.)

NON-PODIUM 600 CLUB

4.) Edwardsfan-         647 (312) (9) (0)

5.) Chokin Colts-       644 (315) (6) (+1)

500 CLUB

6.) Tigersman-          582 (315) (6) (+5)

7.) Obxyankeefan-    580 (243) (17) (-4)

8.) M56Nascar-          577 (259) (15) (-1)

9.) Tenacfan-            573 (256) (16) (-1) (Mears scored more than Johnson due to that +34 handicap.)

10.) Roushfenwayguy- 567 (300) (12) (+1)

11.) Bored at work-      559 (315) (6) (+5) (Most popular picks put Bored back over 300.)

12.) Hard to Beat-       553 (306) (11) (+3)

13.) Floridawhite-        545 (320) (4) (+5) (The two best Roushfenway guys both reached top 10 this time.)

14.) Uscfannv-            544 (237) (18) (-6)

15.) Spikesgator-        533 (290) (13) (+2) (Everytime Spikes doesn't pick Kyle he does good... maybe I'll wait for my picks this time...)

16.) Section-               533 (308) (10) (+2)

17.) RAK-                    517 (267) (14) (-4)

18.) Coach-                 502 (350) (1) (+2) (Obviously Coach doesn't like the danger zone.)

400 CLUB

19.) Fsu1dogs-            492 (207) (21) (-9) (Biggest faller) (Slumping Fsu takes another dip with McMurray.)

20.) Bradman-             472 (224) (19) (-6) (Missed picks this week.)

COW CLUB Tongue out

21.) D2Moo-                357 (210) (20) (0) (Other than Fsu, had the worst points total for both weeks, that's a tough ending...)

So although Carl Edwards and JPM didn't crash into eachother, JPM still had problems, and that put a doom spell on D2Moo, where he was over 115 points from just reaching 20th, 135 from 19th... if I was in his situation, I would probably just want it to end now because that's an awfully big hole that I wouldn't even want to try to dig out of, lol. But that's just what happens sometimes, two weeks of bad picks in a row happens, and its how you get out in this game. And also congratulation to Mikeyfan who edged out ILL55INI by 2/1000 of a second... (really two points) to grab the +20 bonus for these next two weeks.

BONUS TIME: These are optional, you do not need to make these picks. For the all-star race, I decided that it would be best for some bonus to be thrown in so that people could feel like it isn't an off-pick, if you don't make picks for these, then you just won't get the bonuses.

For the bonus, there are four categories, in which you must pick two:

First: You can only choose ONE of these three categories, either Sprint Showdown Winner (SSW)/ Showdown Runner Up (SRU), or All-Star Vote In (VI). If you do make selections for both, than only your first one that you put down will count. If you guess this correctly, you will get a +10 bonus.
Drivers that can be voted in can be found here:
http://www.nascar.com/promos/allsta
r/2010/vote/

Drivers in the Showdown are those drivers listed in the vote for section.
YOU MUST SPECIFY WHICH OF THESE THREE YOU ARE TRYING TO PREDICT, its not 1 driver for all three so hope he gets one of the two.
UPDATE: The Sprint Showdown Winner (SSW) and Showdown Runner Up (SRU) are now combined to influence more people to choose someone in the showdown, meaning that if your driver finishes first or second and you put down Race In (RI) then you will get the points.

Second: Choose the winner of the All-Star Race, for getting this right, you get a +20 bonus.  If you get both of your selections for the All-Star race correct, then you will receive immunity for this segment! (Will become void if either A.) More than 3 win this or B.) the person who wins it doesn't make picks... just because your immune doesn't mean I want you not picking for the next two weeks.) Picking the winner for this All-Star Race will also give you a point on the winner's chosen column, which could help should you make the chase.

Picks for the Coca-Cola 600 (Lowes/Charolette) will still be made on this page, as well as the bonus.)

Next Segment the Game gets Revised: After this segment, the game will become harder from then onto the chase, as each week you will be forced to switch out BOTH, not just one of your drivers, making you have to think more about your picks each week.

Winning Drivers chosen:

Roushfenwayguy- 4
Mikeyfan-            4 (+1)
ILL55INI-            4 (+1)
Section-              4 (+1)

+34 handicap (anyone who is below 38th)

Well, a lot of picks are going through my head... For the first bonus, I am going to go with the Vote in and go with Carl Edwards. For the second bonus I'm going out and saying Dale Earnhardt Jr., he always seems to do great on the races that don't count for points.
For my real picks for Lowe's... I don't want to pick Jimmie during his cold streak, and Kahne... he's going to be picked too much, so I'm going to go with the all star winner Kurt Busch... feeling Kyle may run into something..., and back that up with consistent Burton.
