RFG's Chase Eliminator Week 2

Well, I didn't get the see the race, because I was at a BigE event around by area, but Bowyer winning is pretty darn exciting nevertheless. Anyway, looks like nobody was bold enough to pick Jimmie Johnson as their one lap down guy... who would have thought? And in addition, if you think you did bad this week, you probably did, but don't fret because with all the Smoke and Johnson picks, you are probably not alone, let's see how bad the pain is... (the number in parentheses represents the amount you got from the bonus pick.)

Top Lineup: Clint Bowyer, Jamie McMurray (+10 handicap)- 375

PODIUM

1.) Mikeyfan-           365 (He got the top 2, yet not the perfect lineup... still almost a lock for the next round though.)  (+0)

2.) Edwardsfan-         305 (Carl shines a light for Edwardsfan to make it to the finals this year(well...maybe it was mostly Hamlin...)) (+0)

3.) M56Nascar-          251 (Not even a top 5 driver and he gets on the podium...) (+0)

225 CLUB

4.) ILL55INI-             249 (Not even his +15 bonus could put him over 250.)

5.) Berlyn-                246 (Hey, you were good at picking a loser in this game!(Logano)...oh... but it cost you in this game too...) (-10)

DANGER ZONE

6.) Coach-                223 (+10)

7.) Fsu1dogs-           222 (Apparently betraying your favorite driver gets you bonus points now...) (+10)

8.) Bradman-            220 (+0)

9.) Tigersman-          200 (+0)

10.) Floridawhite-       184 (Fuel and suspension issues... ah another day in misery land.) (+0)

Chokin Colts-            184 ('Refer to above post.') (+0)

12.) Obxyankeefan-   176 (+10)

13.) Roushfenwayguy- 166 (Some help that +20 handicap was...) (+0)

Well, it wasn't bad this week, it was awful. I mean apart from two people that pretty much just received immunity for this race no matter what happens, anyone else could be eliminated this week, especially since two people are being eliminated and not just one. Also last year's winner of the whole contest is in last right now... just thought I'd point that out... hopefully we can have a better next week... at least hopefully me so I can stay in this thing Tongue out.)

So for the next two weeks any drivers combinations are game for both weeks, even the same one for both, so don't worry about picking an illegal lineup, all of them are legal so long as you pick two drivers.

10 handicap: 13th through 20th

Ryan Newman

Jaime McMurray

Mark Martin

Juan Pablo Montoya

David Reutimann

Kasey Kahne

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Martin Truex Jr.

+20 handicap: 21st through 28th

Joey Logano

A.J. Allmendinger

Paul Menard

Marcos Ambrose

David Ragan

Brad Kesolowski

Scott Speed

Sam Hornish Jr.

+25 handicap: 29th through 35th

Elliot Sadler

Regan Smith

Bobby LaBonte

Travis Kvapil

David Gilliland

Kevin Conway

Robby Gordon

+34 handicap (anyone who is below 35th )

For my bonus for this week, I'm still going to recite bonuses from the previous year, however, I changed up the point system for this year's version of this bonus, take a look:

The rule this week that you must pick a driver that you did not pick as one of your two picks, any driver that is in the top 35 in points, and you must guess where they will finish. Where the driver actually finsihes, and where you chose him to finish will be made a difference and subtracted from your score. The other catch is bonuses for this, if you guess within 10 positions of where that driver actually finishes, you get 10 extra points (if your driver is exactly 10 positions away from where you guess, you will receive one bonus point). If you guess within 5 pos., then you get 15 extra points, if you guess exactly where they finish, then 30 points will come your way. If your driver finishes more than 10 pos. away from your guess, then you will not be penalized, you will get 0 points. Here are two examples:

Ex. 1: Roushfenway chooses Jeff Gordon to finish 2nd... Jeff Gordon finishes 5th, so: 5-2 = 3, plus 15 points added to your score since he was within 5 pos. of your guess, since the 3 is subratracted from your score, 15-3 = 12 points added to your score!

Ex. 2: Edwardsfan chooses Carl Edwards to finish 2nd... Carl Edwards finsihes 32nd, so : 32-2 = 30, no bonus, so 0 points would be subtracted from you score.

Well, I need to try to make good picks... consistency maybe nice here since people will crash at Dover... I will go with Carl Edwards here... but Kenseth or Johnson... I'm afraind to pick both, augh I'm going with Johnson, but I may change depending on qualifying. For my bonus pick, I'll pick Greg Biffle to finish 8th.

Roushfenwayguy- Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson (bonus= Greg Biffle (8th))

Floridawhite- Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle (bonus= Jeff Gordon (4th))

Bradman- Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth (bonus= Kevin Harvick (9th))

Edwardsfan- Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin (bonus = Jamie McMurray (15th))

Berlyn- Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton (bonus = Carl Edwards (3rd))

ILL55INI- Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch

Coach-  Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch (bonus = Matt Kenseth (5th))

Mikeyfan- Martin Truex Jr. (+10 handicap), Kyle Busch (bonus= David Reutimann (6th))

Tigersman- Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle (bonus = Carl Edwards (5th))

Chokin Colts- Joey Logano (+20 handicap), A.J. Allmendinger (+20 handicap) (bonus= Jimmie Johnson (5th))

obxyankeefan- Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart (bonus= Dale Earnhardt Jr. (22nd))

fsu1dogs- Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson (bonus= Mark Martin (14th))

M56Nascar- Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon (bonus = Tony Stewart (3rd))

Common Picks:

Jimmie Johnson- 5

Carl Edwards- 3

Kyle Busch-    3

Matt Kenseth- 3

Greg Biffle-     2

And Mikeyfan, let me just say that you are lucky that I have no rules for NASCAR penalties, else you would be in the danger zone right now.

RFG's Chase Eliminator Week 1

Well, the chase starts now at New Hampshire, and out of the 26 people that started this thing, 13 are left, so we can all think of ourselves as the better half. The big question is, after a win by Denny and great performances by Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson, among others, how well did people really do this week, and who didn't survive to see the chase this year? And who will get that win bonus thing, if anyone? All answers will be shown here:

Top Lineup- Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson/Kyle Busch/ Joey Logano (+10 handicap)- 365

PODIUM

1.) Tigersman-          715 (365) (0) (Question, how do you continue your pre-chase dominance? Answer, get a perfect score on the final week to win a session with the highest session total ever in this game.)

2.) Coach-                652 (322) (0) (Got the winner to boost his already great score from last week.)

3.) Roushfenwayguy- 625 (340) (+3) (Got the best lineup possible w/o the winner.)

4.) Bradman-            613 (308) (-1) (Backed up a 2nd place with a top 10.)

5.) Floridawhite-        579 (300) (+2) (On a good note, both his drivers ended up in the top 10.)

6.) Edwardsfan-         584 (281) (-2) (He got a winner!!! But Kasey Kahne ruined all of that glory and then some.)

7.) Fsu1dogs-            582 (279) (-3)

8.) Obxyankeefan-    570 (293) (0)

9.) M56Nascar-          552 (285) (0)

10.) ILL55INI-            532 (270) (0) (Surprisingly it was smoke, not Bowyer, that ruined his day of getting to 300.)

11.) Chokin Colts-      507 (277) (0)

12.) Berlyn-                491 (299) (0) (So close, yet so far to 300...)

13.) Mikeyfan-            472 (292) (0)

14.) Bored at Work-     413 (292) (0) (He picked one of the second best scoring drivers, but that wasn't enough to save him.)

First off, its pretty wierd that from 8th to 14th there were absolutely no changes in positions, just thought I'd point that out. Second, the RFG's Eliminator curse has worked its magic yet again, last year, it was Fsu1dogs whom was dominating the competition and got taken out early. Now this year, Bored at Work has been the most dominant, but he got taken out at a far worse time, right before the chase. It's a shame to see the best performing player in this year's game be taken out right before the chase, but that's how this game works sometimes... hopefully you've had a great ride Bored at Work. Third, I promised that I would give bored at work a bonus if he made it to the chase, however, that didn't happen. So my bonus will hereby go to the person whom has the most session wins now, that's right, the man who just got another win, TIGERSMAN! 1 other twist though, you must make it to the second part of the chase, and then the bonus will be yours, something that may be able to hurl you over to the chase final which you couldn't overcome last year.

One more thing, because its the chase, there are no session win bonuses, sorry Tigersman... but you got that other bonus that you don't even know about yet!

Now the chase begins, I will explain it all here again:

Weeks 27-28: A free for all, meaning you could have the same lineup both weeks, in addition, bonuses maybe thrown in. (revised from original) 2 people will be eliminated!

Weeks 29-31: You may switch one or both of your drivers, like weeks 3-14, yet this is a 3 week peroid, if you switch away from a driver, you can't pick him again, in addition, bonuses maybe thrown in. (You also can't keep 1 driver for all 3 weeks) 3 people will be eliminated! (Bored at Work's bonus will be activated this session, should he make it here.)

Weeks 32-36: You must use 10 different drivers throughout the whole contest, like weeks 15-26, in addition, bonuses maybe thrown in. The champion will be crowned at the end!

So for the next two weeks any drivers combinations are game for both weeks, even the same one for both, so don't worry about picking an illegal lineup, all of them are legal so long as you pick two drivers.

Half our field that made it to the last pre-chase week ended up with 7 wins, seemed to be the norm that only one broke out of in a good way.

ILL55INI-            8

Mikeyfan-            7
Bored at Work-     7
Roushfenwayguy- 7
Fsu1dogs-           7
Chokin Colts-       7
Coach-               7 (+1)
Tigersman-         7 (+1)

Obxyankeefan-    5
Berlyn-                5

M56Nascar56-      4
Floridawhite-        4
Edwardsfan-         4 (+1)

Bradman-            2

This means that only one person will be getting the +15 bonus in the chase, however, they will get that throughout the chase! That is, ILL55INI! Congratulations on your +45 bonus spread though the chase, should you last for all 3 segments.

Handicap lists are now revised, and will be until segment 3, there are MAJOR REVISIONS FOR THE CHASE, so look at them carefully:

10 handicap: 13th through 20th

Ryan Newman

Jaime McMurray

Mark Martin

Juan Pablo Montoya

David Reutimann

Kasey Kahne

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Martin Truex Jr.

+20 handicap: 21st through 28th

Joey Logano

A.J. Allmendinger

Paul Menard

Marcos Ambrose

David Ragan

Brad Kesolowski

Scott Speed

Sam Hornish Jr.

+25 handicap: 29th through 35th

Elliot Sadler

Regan Smith

Bobby LaBonte

Travis Kvapil

David Gilliland

Kevin Conway

Robby Gordon

+34 handicap (anyone who is below 35th )

Bonuses maybe a bit harder for me think of, considering all the new games that are in place, but I'm going to do my best to give good bonuses. (I.E., one of the bonuses I used twice last year was picking the worst chaser.)

For the bonus this week, I'm going to take the bonus from week 9 of the eliminator last here, this is the info:
So... bonus for this week... I'll have to go with one lap down. Its simple, guess the first person that is one lap down, (in other words the driver in the lucky dog pos. when the race ends.) and you get +20 points, guess anyone that is one lap down, get +15, if you guess anyone that gets 2 laps down, its +10, 3 or more laps down and you still get +5, if your driver doesn't go a lap down, you get nothing, however, if you pick a driver that gets a DNF, you get -10 points, so just watch out not to pick a DNF driver and you should be good. Again this is optional, but even drivers that crash will likely come back, so its worth taking a shot... just don't pick Dave Blaney or Nemechek, lol.

For my lineup this week, I'll start off with Jimmie Johnson, since you know, he's great here and he's the chase defender... for my second driver though... I'm going to go with Joey Logano, because Denny looks really nice, but I'm afraid that he will have more chase woes, and a +20 on a great track for him is too good to pass up. And for my bonus, who else but Dale Earnhardt Jr.?

Roushfenwayguy- Jimmie Johnson, Joey Logano (+20 handicap) (bonus= Dale Earnhardt Jr.)

Floridawhite- Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart (bonus= David Ragan

Bradman- Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch (bonus = Elliot Sadler)

Edwardsfan- Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin (bonus= Sam Hornish Jr.)

Berlyn- Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton (bonus= Joey Logano)

ILL55INI- Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch (bonus= Sam Hornish Jr.) (+15 bonus)

Coach- Jimmie Johnson, JPM (+10 handicap) (bonus= Mark Martin)

bored at work-

Mikeyfan- Denny Hamlin, Clint Bowyer (bonus= Dale Earnhardt Jr.)

Tigersman- Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle (bonus= Brad Keselowski)

Chokin Colts-
Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart (Bonus= Elliot Sadler)

obxyankeefan- Jimmie Johnson, Joey Logano (+20 handicap) (bonus= Mark Martin)

fsu1dogs- Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch (Bonus= Mark Martin)

M56Nascar- Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon (bonus= Kasey Kahne)

Common Picks:

Jimmie Johnson- 8

Tony Stewart-      5

Denny Hamlin-    2

Kurt Busch-         2

Joey Logano-      2

Kyle Busch-         2

Mark Martin (bonus)- 3

Elliot Salder (bonus)- 2

RFG's Eliminator League Week 26

Well, Tony Stewart has finally got a win, and he's a very popular driver, so who picked him... well there's a Tony Stewart fan up for elimination!!... oh wait, he didn't choose him... nope it seems like nobody chose Tony Stewart, quite a shocker for any week past july Daytona, but at least Carl Edwards did plenty people proud as well. So let's see where everyone stacks heading into the last race before the chase:

Top Lineup- Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards- 370

PODIUM

Tigersman-          350 (Once again he has taken the top spot in this game, going 3 in a row with week's led, he has finally come to life in a huge way!)
Coach-                330 (Has been really heating up in this game just before chase time.)

Bradman-            305

NON-PODIUM 300 CLUB

Edwardsfan-         303

Fsu1dogs-           303

200 CLUB

Roushfenwayguy- 285

Floridawhite-        279

Obxyankeefan-    277

M56Nascar-          267 (Survives due to engine failiure.)

ILL55INI-            262 (Johnson did really good, Kahne... issue prone yet again.)

Chokin Colts-       230

DANGER ZONE

Berlyn-                192 (Good day going sour for Harvick also spelled the same for Berlyn... should have chosen her favorite driver.)

Mikeyfan-            164 (Well Hamlin did look promising until his engine gave way...)

Bored at Work-    121 (And there is a new person with the lowest total ever in a week, and that is... wait... this can't be right... ITS THE APOCALYPSE, bored at work actually did horrible! Hopefully you can rebound, because you weren't the only one that did bad this week.)

ELIMINATED

Hard to Beat-       186 (Denny looked so promising, but engine failiure ruined any chance of Hard to Beat staying alive in the competition.)

Well, it really sucks that Hard to Beat went down in this game due to engine failiure, most likely M56 would be eliminated if it wasn't for that, so he should be thanking the stars... but this is just what happens sometimes in a competitive sport, people go down, and there's nothing you can do about it. It's been a great ride having you in this competition Hard to Beat, and maybe I'll see you here next year.

As for the rest of us, Tigersman has done it again, showing that he may be the man to beat come chase time, but is he coming out of his shell too early??? Probably not, but who knows!? Also Shoking our bottom 3, they were all of the people that had the best avg. finishes before I stopped keeping record of them, and Bored at Work with the lowest score in this game ever after all the good weeks he's had, simply shocking!

I will also take this time to explain the chase, this applies for everyone that makes it there obviously:

Winning Drivers Chosen:
(Remember, whoever leads this next week will get +15 bonuses throughout each session in the chase,  2nd gets +15 the first 2, third +15 the first, if there is a tie, your bonus gets rounded down, so right now ILL55INI is the only one that would get a bonus, and a big one at that.)

ILL55INI-            8

Joe Nemechek

(Joe Nemechek and Brian Vickers in, Bobby LaBonte and Mike Bliss out.)

+34 handicap (anyone who is below 38th )

For the final race at Richmond before the chase, there are a lot of danger drivers that I'm watching out for right now, the only lineup I can say would be safe enough for me at this point is Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson.

Roushfenwayguy- Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson

Floridawhite- Carl Edwards, Juan Pablo Montoya (+10 handicap)

Bradman- Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick

RFG's Eliminator League Week 25

Well, we got a lot of people that picked the winner, 10 to be exact, but there were also a lot that feel off the mark, like Jimmie and Denny, which will make these standings very interesting... let's see what happened, oh and one more thing, I figured out that Floridawhite had Denny during week 23, thus, I gave him an illegal lineup, lol. That pick got replaced with Kurt Busch:

Top Lineup: Kyle Busch, David Reutimann (+10 handicap)- 380

PODIUM

1.) Tigersman-          677 (337) (Got the high score for both weeks, that's a winning formula.)

2.) Berlyn-                650 (310) (Backs up last week with a winner.)

3.) Obxyankeefan-    639 (333)

NON-PODIUM 600 CLUB

4.) Bored at Work-    637 (336) (He picked two drivers not even in the chase, didn't get the winner, and yet only lost to the high score of the week by 1, that's bored at work for you.)

5.) Roushfenwayguy- 630 (333) (The leader of the Busch bros. followers, since I picked them first, lol. Obviously a great lineup)

6.) Chokin Colts-       621 (333)

500 CLUB

7.) ILL55INI-             596 (333)

8.) Coach-                 593 (258) (Got the winner, and the worst finishing chaser.)

9.) Floridawhite-         576 (269)

10.) Mikeyfan-            560 (260)

11.) Edwardsfan-         550 (272) (He picked two drivers in the top 10... but the lowest in the top 10.)

12.) Bradman-            505 (258)

13.) Fsu1dogs-           503 (256) (Winner keeps him alive... barely...)

THE LAST STAND DUO

14.) Hard to Beat-       494 (183) (Two non- top 25 bicks puts hard to beat all the way down to the first tie for elimination :O)

M56Nascar-                494 (333) (Put up enough of a fight to overcome a huge deficit and (maybe) stay in the game.)

No, both of you are not eliminated, but for the first time this season, we have a tie for elimination, so I will explain here what will happen to you two, and congratulations to Tigersman on a great session!

FOR M56 and HtB only: Although you two are tied, someone needs to be eliminated, however, that elimination will be determined next race. Its simple, pick a lineup, and if you win, you keep those points toward the session in progress and stay in the game, loser is out and won't get a chance to make picks for Richmond. Both of you CAN NOT pick the same lineup, lineups go by first come first serve, so the quicker you make yours, the better since the other player can't choose your picks. Should they do so w/o noticing, the person that chose those same picks second will be eliminated (hate for you to be eliminated that way but rules are rules). If you two get a tie, then whichever person had the BETTER FINISHING drivers will move on, and that's about it, good luck to both of you.

I will also take this time to explain the chase, this applies for everyone that makes it there obviously:

Winning Drivers Chosen:

ILL55INI-            8 (+1)

Mikeyfan-            7
Bored at Work-     7

Roushfenwayguy- 7 (+1)

RFG's Eliminator League Week 24

Well, congratulations to Kevin Harvick on yet another win, holding off Hamlin and the Roush attack that was making a charge... was really hoping for a caution for my guys... anyway, lets see who picked him... just 1 person, and guess who it is considering that Section isn't here? That's right, Bored at Work does it again, however, he also picked Jeff Burton... considering there were some Edwards, Hamlin lineups, he won't have the lead, but let's see the whole standings:

Top Lineup- Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick- 365

PODIUM

1.) Berlyn-                340 (Berlyn is back on top, finally putting all her struggles behind her.)

Tigersman-               340

3.) Coach-                335 (The best RFR lineup possible, and shows a very strong performance.)

NON-PODIUM 300 CLUB

4.) Hard to Beat-       311 (Picked two great drivers that nobody else chose.)

5.) Floridawhite-        307

6.) Obxyankeefan-    306

7.) Bored at Work-    301 (Jeff Burton really ruined bored at work's win, luckily his +20 bonus pushed him over 300 pts.)

8.) Mikeyfan-            300

250 CLUB

9.) Roushfenwayguy- 297

10.) Chokin Colts-       288 (Not the best handicap drivers, but a good lineup nevertheless.)

12.) ILL55INI-             263

SEMI-DANGER ZONE

13.) Bradman-            247 (Though he had a top 3, Jeff Gordon ruined his day.)

Fsu1dogs-                  247 (Refer to Bradman's comment.)

MARKED MAN (needs to overcome at least an 86 pt. deficit, ouch...)

I already stated who I'm going with here, and I'm sticking to them, I mean Kurt and Kyle are soo good here, and though I'm afraid of a Busch bros. lineup, this is the place to do it at.

Roushfenwayguy- Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch

Floridawhite- Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin (RFG super random autopicks) (I know he maybe still on vacation, so since he planned 3 weeks ahead before, I'll cut him a break, as I know he still cares about the game, just did a random pick with the top 15 drivers... else he would have gotten Scott Speed and Reed Sorenson : /. Thought next week I will give him regular autopicks should he not be here.)

Bradman- Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson

Edwardsfan-  Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth

Berlyn- Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton

RFG's Eliminator League Week 23

Well, we had 4 lineups that picked the unstoppable lineup of Ambrose and JPM, good thing I decreased their handicaps or else everyone probably would have picked them, lol. Not to say that Chokin Colts didn't choose a great lineup either, he got 1st and 5th, anyway, lets go to the standings, where I'm sure all but a few did very well and those that chose one wrong driver will suffer the consequences.

Top Lineup- Juan Pablo Montoya, Kurt Busch/ Marcos Ambrose/ A.J. Allmendinger (+10 handicap)- 365

PODIUM

1.) Bored at Work-    689 (365) (+1) (I forgot to add your +20 bonus to last week, so I added it now... perfect lineup... bored at work wins again... why am I not surprised... lol)

2.) Obxyankeefan-    646 (311) (-1) (Considering his unorthodox pick of Sam Hornish, he did very well.)

3.) Coach-                636 (316) (0)

NON-PODIUM 600 CLUB

4.) Edwardsfan-         632 (365) (+5) (Biggest mover.) (One of the many that chose the perfect lineup.)

5.) Bradman-            631 (312) (-1)

6.) Mikeyfan-            619 (365) (+4)

7.) ILL55INI-            613 (316) (0)

8.) Floridawhite-        608 (304) (-3) (Duplicated his score from last week with picking 2 weeks in advance.)

9.) Chokin Colts-       604 (350) (+1)

500 CLUB

10.) Tigersman-          584 (280) (-5) (Biggest faller) (One of the few that couldn't top 300 this week.)

11.) Berlyn-                577 (365) (+3) (Breaks out of her slump in a big way.)

12.) M56Nascar56-      547 (257) (-4) (Considering how well everyone else did, it left M56 falling down the elevator without an E-Brake.)

13.) Roushfenwayguy- 540 (316) (0) (The lineup that hasn't finished below 3rd in 6 starts did, but it was still good.)

14.) Hard to Beat-       526 (280) (-2) (The two Sprint road veteran team was good, but not great like what most other people had.)

450 CLUB

15.) Fsu1dogs-           486 (276) (0) (Would be a decent score for any week except this one.)

ELIMINATION CLUB

16.) Spikesgator-        417 (225) (0) (Who would have guessed that Jimmie Johnson would be the death of someone?)

Well, with the great roadcourse the only person that chose a driver outside the top 20 got eliminated, it didn't help that he was in last before this week even began, and if you get the lowest score for two weeks in a row... well there's just no way your going to get out of elimination is there? So Spikesgator will be leaving the competition just moments before the chase, which is coming up in just two more sessions! Can you hang on until then??? Also Bored at Work won another session... I have made my decision on what your reward will be Bored at Work (So long as obx or Mikeyfan don't win the next two session in a row.) However, you will have to wait until the chase to find out what it is, stay tuned!

ILL55INI-            7
Mikeyfan-            7 (+1)

Roushfenwayguy- 6
Fsu1dogs-           6
Bored at Work-    6 (+1)
Chokin Colts-      6 (+1)

Coach-               5
Tigersman-         5

Floridawhite-        4
Spikesgator-        4
Obxyankeefan-    4
Berlyn-                4 (+1)

M56Nascar56-      3
Edwardsfan-         3 (+1)

Hard to Beat-       2

Bradman-            1

10 handicap: 16th through 23rd

Jaime McMurray

Kasey Kahne

David Reutimann

Joey Logano

Martin Truex Jr.

A.J. Allmendinger

Juan Pablo Montoya

Paul Menard

(No changes to +10 handicap list except for order.)
+20 handicap: 24th through 31st

David Ragan

Brad Kesolowski

Scott Speed

Marcos Ambrose

Elliot Sadler

Sam Hornish Jr.

Regan Smith

Bobby LaBonte

(Brian Vickers out of +20, Bobby in)
+25 handicap: 32nd through 38th

Robby Gordon

Travis Kvapil

Kevin Conway

David Gilliland

(N/A, Brian Vickers)

David Stremme

Joe Nemechek

(Joe Nemechek and Brian Vickers in, Bobby LaBonte and Mike Bliss out.)

+34 handicap (anyone who is below 38th )

Well, Carl Edwards has been on a roll and is great here, definetely using him... after that... I'll choose Jimmie Johnson, as I have no plan of using him at Bristol.

Roushfenwayguy- Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson (Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch week 24 pre-set)

Floridawhite- Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin

Bradman- Carl Edwards, Jeff Gordon

Edwardsfan-  Carl Edwards, Jaime McMurray (+10 handicap)

RFG's Eliminator League Week 22

Well, a RFR driver finally won, that must mean Bradman got a win... oh wait, he wanted all chevies... but those that decided to use Stewart now instead of later got rewarded nicely. Pretty good week except for a few people. And as for avg. finish, I decided to abolish that since it no longer counts for anything.

Top Lineup- Greg Biffle, Tony Stewart- 365

PODIUM

1.) Obxyankeefan-    335 (Competing with bored at work for most session wins.)

2.) Bored at Work-     324

3.) Coach-                320

NON-PODIUM 300 TIED CLUB

4.) Bradman-            319

230 CLUB

7.) ILL55INI-            297

8.) M56Nascar-         290

9.) Edwardsfan-         267

10.) Chokin Colts-      254

Mikeyfan-                  254

12.) Hard to Beat-       246 (Handicaps takes him out of the danger zone... not that he still can't be eliminated.)

DANGER ZONE

13.) Roushfenwayguy- 224 (Popular Denny got a top 5, but Jimmie ruined my driver's day.)

14.) Berlyn-                212 (Once avg. finish leader, now slipping down the tubes.)

15.) Fsu1dogs-           210 (With Kurt's failiure, has Fsu's bad session finally come?)

16.) Spikesgator-        192 (Picked the worst possible JGR drivers.)

So pretty good considering nobody picked the winner, but with 8/12 chasers in the top 10, you had to expect something like this would happen.

ILL55INI-            7

Roushfenwayguy- 6
Mikeyfan-            6
Fsu1dogs-           6

Chokin Colts-      5
Coach-               5

Martin Truex Jr.

A.J. Allmendinger

(N/A, Brian Vickers)

David Stremme

Joe Nemechek

(Joe Nemechek and Brian Vickers in, Bobby LaBonte and Mike Bliss out.)

+34 handicap (anyone who is below 38th unless otherwise listed)

Well, Tony Stewart in the last 5 years here has 3 wins, and 5 top 5s, hard to argue with that... and of course Ambrose has never finished outside the top 5 here, also since I can't pick Hamlin with 4 for 4 in top 10s makes those two easy.

Roushfenwayguy- Tony Stewart, Marcos Ambrose

Floridawhite- Jeff Gordon, Marcos Ambrose (JJ & Hamlin week 23 pre-set)

Bradman- Marcos Ambrose, Kyle Busch

Edwardsfan- Marcos Ambrose, Juan Pablo Montoya

RFG's Eliminator League Week 21

Well, have a lot to do and probably not enough time to do it, I'll try my best to get this all done by the end of today. Anyway, Indy, just like Chicagoland, didn't end up so good, as Jimmie, Jeff, Reutimann and Montoya, pretty much all of the most popular picks went down in flames... this should leave to no surprised that Section and RAK will be eliminated, but let's see if I made a miscalculation.

Top Lineup- Jaime McMurray (+10 handicap), Kevin Harvick- 375

600 CLUB... The First Time Nobody Has Reached It.

PODIUM

1.) Bored at Work-    582 (252) (0) (Once again... he wins... I'll have a reward for you at the chase should you make it and you still have the most amount of session wins.)

2.) Floridawhite-        558 (290) (+2) (Two decent weeks for Florida puts him in a much better than decent position.)

3.) ILL55INI-            521 (191) (-2) (It's never advised to follow Coach's picks :P)

NON-POIUM 500 CLUB

4.) Chokin Colts-      505 (269) (+5) (Only person to pick Harvick here, and it paid off.)}

5.) Edwardsfan-        502 (244) (0)                                                                          } 4 point seperation

6.) Mikeyfan-           501 (184) (-3) (MWR must not want you as a fan.)                      }

400 CLUB

7.) Obxyankeefan-   490 (249) (0)

8.) Hard to Beat-      481 (242) (0)

9.) Bradman-           462 (306) (+9) (Biggest mover) (306) (Almost tripled his score! Huge rebound.)

10.) Berlyn-               456  (249) (+1)                     }

11.) Spikesgator-       455 (205) (-5) (Biggest faller) } 2 point seperation

12.) Fsu1dogs-           454 (257) (+1)                     }

13.) Tigersman-         432 (249) (+2) }

14.) M56Nascar-         431 (196) (-4)  } 1 point seperation

300 CLUB (Actually has more than just the person (or in this case people) eliminated.)

15.) Roushfenwayguy- 395 (196) (-3) (Hendrick's best got less than 200 points... I thought it wasn't possible.)

16.) Coach-                388 (191) (-3)

17.) Section-              342 (183) (-1) (Well, you did better than last week at least...)

18.) RAK-                   340 (181) (-2) (Refer to Section's comment.)

From a rating of 1 to 10 of how good this session did, it was a -10... truly awful, all of you should be ashamed, even you Bored at Work, because we expect you to get over 600 points every session now, lol. And nobody got the winner, cmon guys he won at Daytona... thought at least one person (cough Bradman) would be brave enough to take him.
