Vikings vs. Titans Preview.

The Minnesota Vikings come into this game at 1-2, while the Tennessee Titans are living the high life at 3-0.  The Vikings come into this game feeling it is a must win thinking how good the Packers have been this season.  So let's look into their gameplan

Offense-  The Vikings need to come into this game thinking run, run, and run some more.  The Titans defense has allowed 89 rushing yards a game and with Adrian Peterson in the Vikings backfield look for him to explode for above 100 yards this Sunday.  Against the Titans Gus Frerotte needs to throw a lot of short passes..Mixing in some deep balls to a guy like Bernard Berrian...Who has the ability to beat the titans corners down field.

Defense-  To knock down this Titans offense,  I think the Vikings should throw a lot of blitzes at this Titans offensive line..Jacksonville did that to the Titans in week one and held the Titans to just 17 points..If the Vikings hold the Titans to 17 or under...They WILL win this game.

Key Player- Adrian Peterson..This guy is bound to have a big game.  He is and should be the leader of this team.. He will get many touches due to their lack of QB's and WR's.  Obviously, a guy with Adrian Petersons talent will be able to produce with each carry he has.  Look for him to have a big week against the Titans in week 4.

Prediction- Vikings 24
                    Titans 10

Cardinals vs. Redskins Recap

The Arizona Cardinals lost their first game today 24-17.  A tough loss for this team saying they played well...Let's go through the recap

QB Kurt Warner - Kurt had another solid game today..Throwing for 192 yards on 16/30 passing..He found the end zone twice while getting picked off once.

RB Edgerrin James - Edgerrin did a nice job on the ground today..Picking up 93 yards on 18 carries...He didn't hit the end zone once again. His longest rush was 16 yards and he caught two passes for 15 yards.

WR Anquan Boldin - Anquan wasn't looked to as much this week.Just receiving 3 passes for 25 yards. He did reach the end zone though on a 4 yard score from Kurt Warner to Boldin.

WR Larry Fitzgerald - Larry had a great game today.Receiving 109 yards on 7 catches and Larry hit the end zone for a 62 yard score...A nice comeback from last week.

Defense - The defense did a decent job...But got torn apart by Jason Campbell...Holding the Redskins to 24 points was what i would call an accomplishment.

Overall - They lost the game today.  But it was still a nice job by the Cardinals.  Kurt Warner had another good week.  Edgerrin James rushed for 93 yards.  And the receiving duo both hit the end zone.  But Jason Campbell and the Redskins offense tore the Cards apart today passing wise.  Look for the Cardinals to answer back next week in New York when they play the Jets.

Cardinals vs. Dolphins recap

A very Nice win for the Arizona Cardinals..I'll break it down.

Kurt Warner did an excellent job against the Dolphins.  He was 19/24 for 361 yards and 3 Touchdowns..  If he continues to play well this team will not only improve...But watch out..The Cards may be a sleeper.

Edgerrin James ran for 55 yards on 18 attempts..His longest run was 13 yards...A decent day for Edge..Look for him to break out in one of these weeks.

The wide receiving duo of Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald were fantastic as well..Both had 6 receptions and above 135 yards.  Anquan Boldin caught 3 Touchdowns...This duo is very dangerous.

The defense did a nice job...Holding the Dolphins to just 10 points..The offensive outburst probably gave the Cardinals a little rest on defense knowing that they didn't have to get a stop.

All and all..The Arizona Cardinals are 2-0..Watch out for this young team.

Jags week two.

UGH..Another loss for the Jaguars...This time to the Bills. This time our problem was the defense.
The defense could NOT get the stop we needed...We had the lead 16-10 and then gave up a Touchdown with 4:21 left to play...Then later gave up a field goal, making it 20-16, and a field goal for the Jaguars would not have won the game.No Matter what..Next week is a must win...We are really struggling right now..Lets get out of it!

Jags week one.

This was an Embarrasing loss..All around..David Garrard had a bad day.  We couldn't run the ball for our lives...

I'll start with the offense.

David Garrard had a bad day.  He threw just 3 interceptions all year last year...He already has two..He did go 23-25 for 215 yards an 1TD but we need a better performance out of him next time out.
The Running was absolutely awful...We have one of the best running back crews in the league...Yet they could only run for 31 yards on a lowly 14 carries...That's awful..
The offensive line was the worst of all...David Garrard got sacked 7 times..It could have been more to!   David Garrard was running for his life all day long. This has to improve or look for a long season.

Next the defense...They did a nice job today..They only gave up 17 points today..I would have liked only giving up 10 or less though..But overall nice job.

Special Teams
This was a nice surprise for us today..We had nice field position all day..If the special teams can keep this up...The offense will come around..

Overall
Disappointing loss...Especially to a division rival like the Titans..We have to come back and get a win against the Bills next week
