MLB Instant Replay

I really like this idea...Especially since it it only for Homerun calls....There may be some problems..But I'm sure the MLB will take care of them..
What do you think?

What the Mets need...and what we think they need.

I'll start of with a closer....To be honest with you yes we need to upgrade here...Billy Wagner is starting to wear down and has some injury issues...I think we should give a try at K-Rod...But if we can't get K-Rod look at Fuentes or Lyon and make Billy Wagner the Set-Up guy..

Next is a left fielder...A lot of people disagree with me on this one....But i think we need a new left fielder...Try after Matt Halladay or Adam Dunn...or maybe even Manny...I don't like the thoughts of Manny coming to the Mets though due to his personality issues....I'm just trying to say that i think in the future we should put Murphy at second..Then mix in Evans or Tatis somewhere...But i don't think those two are good enough to start in left for us..

A starting pitcher?  This is the one spot where i don't think we need to improve....We need to resign Oliver Perez...And bring up Jon Niese...Pedro is almost done guys...So Niese can fill his spot...Then our rotation will be Santana,Pelfrey,Perez,Maine, and Niese...Sounds good to me...

Other than those three positions i can't think of anywhere we would want to make moves, other than maybe at 1st base for Texiera...But I'm not seeing that happening..That's what the Mets need..

Why the Mets will make the Playoffs..

I think it is no doubt,  what defines the New York Mets is starting pitching.  It all starts with Johan Santana, and ends with Pedro.  There arn't many pitching staffs that can out pitch this one.  I also would like to say that the bullpen might finally come around..Without Billy Wagner the Mets have closed out 6-8 save chances..That might not sound good..But Billy Wagner has only converted 27-34 save chances...Usually when Jose Reyes is rolling, So does this Met offense filled with stars.(Wright,Reyes,Beltran ext.) But honestly..When Reyes is hot..This team seems to surround around him and be hot as well..If Oliver Perez, Mike Pelfrey, and John Maine can all give quality starts down the stretch, This Mets team will always have a chance to win.
