Three Man Rotation

September 22, 2011 12:03 pm

Wonder if the Crew can get buy just pitching Zack, Yo and Shaun in as three man for the divisional series. Then use Randy Wolf as the game two starter if they make it to the NLCS.

Wolf look horrible against the Cubs who are at 69 wins now and ben out of it long time ago. Two out of three for the Cubs. Wolf and Naverson were the starters.

Other note Cardinals have a shot to overtake the Braves which will send them to Philadelphia.

Postseason Forecast

September 15, 2011 4:53 pm

The Brewers going to the postseason is virtually a lock.  So now we are looking at seeding and how far the Crew will go.

So share your opinions of what you think the Crew can do.

I believe that they can make it through the first round of the playoffs unless they end up starting on the road with the Phillies.  Then all bets are off.  They need to focus on finishing strong with Cincinnati, and Chicago on the road and Florida, and Pittsburgh at home, they can put together a good run to finish on a positive note.  Some momentum going into the postseason will help.

Brewers goals

May 22, 2011 1:00 pm

"The Brewers should have two major goals this season: stay healthy and make the postseason."

The Brewers have been staying healthy this season for the most part (knock on wood).  Hopefully this trend will continue throughout the season.

Shaun Marcum has been the ace of the Brewers more than Zach Grinke.  Yovani Gallardo is off this season.  These are three good pitchers and can help the Crew get a run going.

46 games into the season, we are 23-23, not a bad place to be at only 3 1/2 games behind St. Louis, but the brewers should try to put some games together and pull up with cincinatti and st. louis.  The postseason is still a possibility at this point

Brewers season goals

March 22, 2011 10:08 pm

The Brewers should have two major goals this season: stay healthy and make the postseason.

The Brewers have to stay healthy this year.  The past five or six years, the excuse was, oh injuries was the reason that the brewers didnt do good this year.  We must stay healthy.

The other one is to make the postseason.  We only were there once in the past ten years.  This needs to change.  The brewers are going big this year with the resigning of Prince Fielder and the trades to get Zach Grinke and Shaun Marcum.  These will look good if the brewers become winners, but if we loose those would be bad trades and a bad resigning.

These goals must happen to make this season a successful one.

Injuries

March 9, 2011 4:58 pm

The injury bug bites the Brewers again...
Zach Grinke has a fractured rib and is expected to miss two to four weeks.  Why do the brewers always get hurt?
I hope it doesnt ruin our season
