PSU in Top Ten

Wow.  I cannot remember the last time PSU was ranked in the pre-season top ten.  I hope the expectations are not too high in 2009!  I was thinhking they were more like 15.  Any thoughts??

I feel very honored that PSU is in the Top 10 but I think we should temper our expectations. PSU lost their top wideouts from last year and they got new guys starting at OL. I do think the new guys will be able to step in and contribute immediately. They will NEED to be able to finally beat Iowa this year. Ferentz absolutely owns Paterno. I'm also worried about Illinios too. I think we will beat OSU at Happy Valley but PSU need to remain focused all season long. If they can do that, the Big Ten title should be theirs.

What a suprise after last season fall out to USC. I would of thought penn st. would be atleast no.17. Losing our 3 wideouts but Clark should be able to get them balls out to those new starters. Secondary man! Can we play better. Sean Lee is now back so Im expecting a good year from him. Hopefully! I think top 10 is a little to high. But I'm ok with it

At the onset of the season I would have thought top 10 as a bit high but it will set up nicely if PSU can beat Iowa at home then Illinois at Champagne.
