![]() Today Dan Guerrero announced a new contract agreement with Coach Howland that guarantees him $1.97 million for 2008-09 season. It also includes incentive package from his previous contract that max out at $235K. This salary increase will make Coach Ben Howland the highest paid coach in the nation based in the 2007 stats. Adidas contract and other endorsements should be able to pay the bulk for the increase. I don't think UCLA will need to increase the ticket price. Based on the 2007 Stats the new list should be: 1. Ben Howland (UCLA) $1,970,000 2. Rick Barnes (Texas) $1,800,000 3. Thad Matta (Ohio St) $1,750,000 4. Tom Izzo (Michigan St) $1,735,964 5. Tom Crean (Marquette) $1,688,487 6. Bill Self (Kansas) $1,600,700 7. Jim Calhoun (Connecticut) $1,500,000 8. Roy Williams (North Carolina) $1,424,274 9. Billy Donovan (Florida) $1,389,173 10. John Calipari (Memphis) $1,315,000 Category: NCAAB
