I am done posting with this group and the threads for the time being.......I created it as a place where anyone could talk sports and life and get away from all the drama. However, in the 5 days that this group has been up, the hate and crudeness has increased like the creation of threads against me personally, hateful IMs, derogatory comments about my family. I know people say sticks and stones and all that, but constantly dealing with this every single day on CBS gets really, really old.....didn't know expressing sports views brings this much hate....is their an explanation for all this hate? The associations I made? the people I spoke to on forums? Who knows.....but it continues, on and on. To those people that I have talked sports with, I really appreciate your viewpoints and thoughts. Too bad it couldn't have stayed a positive thing. If you still want to keep in touch, let me know. I will check my messages.

UK, i have no idea who you are talking about, i have one screen name and i have had it for almost 2 years. i am not sure why you think i am not who i say i am, but that is your choice. i will defend people from that level of hate as a rule, if someone was bashing you, i would do the same thing. i am sorry you don't feel respect is worth the effort. NO one deserves this stuff.

it is a very sad day when people decide that hate and envy and jealousy and pettiness and lies can transform a beautiful young woman into a woman who has no choice but to leave. Alexa has provided us all with some great insights and offered us opinions that have been based in both fact and emotion. a balance not often found on these boards. she has become the object of ridicule, accusations and out and out hatred for no appearant reason. Cbs has provided us all a forum to express our love and hate of sport and other issues that present themselves in ones life. most of us have chosen to take advantage of that and have meet new people i wouldn't hesistate to call friends. unfortunately, it has provided the same access to those among us who look at this as an opportunity to spread hate and vile to all who will listen. i have tried to stay out of the fray, but my friend Alexa has been attacked to the point that she is leaving CBS. that is not how anyone should be treated. there are those of you who will read this and think to yourselves that i am just trying to say what she wants to hear and in your minds and thoughts you laugh at me as i have no idea who she really is or i would run. well, i can tell you that i am a 45 year old man who can think and reason for myself and i don't have time limits on my internet access as i have worked hard in my life to have the opportunity to enjoy a forum like this. i don't need you to tell me who i should and shouldn't post with as i am able to read a post and discern the writers intent for the most part. hatred is easy to spot and scars can run very deeply in a wounded soul. you all who are doing the hating should look in the mirror and realize that we don't care what you believe and we even appreciate your right to say it, but the intent of the 1st amendment was not to have the freedom to hate and destroy. think about that as you ponder what a great thing you have done by spewing the hate you have. those of us who know Alexa, even in this forum, will be missing a great friend and a great poster. Alexa, you have lots of friends here who will miss your posting. don't ever forget that. James i have no problem posting my name as i have nothing to hide. ...what he said. I'm not trying to be funny or anything - thats basically how I feel about it and he summed it up much, much better than I ever could...I dont know what the haters could possibly get out of all this, but I hope they all get banned so that they can never come back to the Community ever. I haven't received any hateful PM's (yet) but I can sort of imagine what its like. This really shows that there are still sexist people out there who have something against women, and that sickens me. I'm sorry Alexa. All of your friends here will miss you. You will always be remembered among us as a nice person and a good friend. Good luck and try to keep in touch.

It is just unbelievable that people have nothing better to do with their lives than attack one another. Alexa, I found you to be truly knowledgeable and believe you put a great insight on sports. Your random sports stories, as well as the in-depth perspective showed you do know what you are talking about. Other people's actions and treatment of you have caused you to go away from these posts, but you do know you have a solid foundation of support here as well. I sent you a message with my email if you ever wantt o talk sports, or if you end up at any Charger games, I am sure you could find us out in G3 tailgating :). Alexa, You are a very smart young lady . You will do what you have to to please your self. I personally say don't let them win. Trying to get to you there A$$holes. There jealous of you because of your following. You post mainly good stuff. Never Stupid low life junks like them. Just don't read it. The more they see it gets to you the more they will do. Its just like a bunch of little bullies. You are a very smart good person. Do not let them in any way intimidate you you are better than that. They don't know you hell I dont know you.
