I didn't even realize that either. Half the time I don't even know the Derby happened until it is already over (sorry, watching horses run around in circles doesn't thrill me). Oh well, we have all summer, a lot of baseball games on we can go and watch and drink beer to.

yeah, I love baseball...I'm neck deep in it with my kids right now...I'm an assistant coach on a 9/10 year old team... Dale, you are making me so jealous. I played all the way through high school and hope my 16-month old follows in my footsteps. We were at the park the other day (they have little league fields there) and he took off into a sprint for the fence in outfield. He grabbed the fence and just sighed. Yeah, i got teary-eyed, LOL.
Good Sunday evening, guys. Sometimes I wish I had a son to play basketball or baseball. Not that my girls can't or don't love sports. I just don't really care for girls basketball.
I hear ya Dad. Girls basketball looks like guy's basketball of the 1950's. I mean, maybe in the year 2060 women's ball might be cool but I don't want to wait that long.
My daughter was in tball last year and it was fun to watch. We can't have her in the summer programs because she is out of state for at least one week each month and misses too many games. I think my 2 year old will be a linebacker. My 4 year old is going to be a jockey.
I was gone on the road all day yesterday, so I missed it. I usually like to watch it. I wonder how things will go with a new coach next year. His name escapes me right now.
Don't know how he takes hits but he has some wheels on him and seems to be able to read the defense pretty well. Also, we picked up a QB in the 7th round today so i guess Sorgi will be packing.
