VIJAY is da MAN's Picks - Best Golf Capper Ever!

Hello everyone.

I have never posted a thread before, so I am going to start this so we can have Vijay's plays here easily every week.

Just a little background here.

VIJAY is da MAN hit six straight tournament futures to end last golf season.

This year, he missed the first one he picked but hit on Kenny Perry last weekend at 55-1.

I will go over and get his picks now and copy them here for this weekend's tournament.

Ok everyone.  With a nice win at 55-1 last week with Kenny Perry in our back pockets, lets move on to this week in San Diego (I will be there all 4 days - but its going to rain for at least the first two days ).  Much like last week, Torrey Pines is a long-hitter's paradise and the true "home" course of Mickelson.  I will include Mickelson in my picks, but not because I like him to win, but only because I will not let him kill my bets.  If, over the last 10 years, I had bet on Mickelson every time he 'should' have won, I would be broke right now.  So what I will do here is a "cover-my-butt" pick on Mickelson.  What I call a "CMB" pick is one where I put just enough on him so that if he does win, I bet enough on him to cover all my other plays for the week.  I guarantee that if the CMB plays win, I am at least break even for the week.

(Sorry most of that paragraph is a copy from last week, but the same thing applies this week as last!)

I whave two CMB plays this week just like last week (please note I do not like either of these guys much to win, but I am just playing it safe by putting small amounts on them).  Please read above to see what a "CMB" pick is.

Longshots (or if your book offers top-5 or top-10 odds, maybe a better choice)

Imada - 50-1

Hoffman - 50-1

K. Sutherland - 65-1

Petterson - 70-1

Snedeker - 75-1

I would warn that I do not have a great "feel" for this week, so I am still not at my full bet sizes yet, but I am upping all my bets by 50% from last week.

His plays are future odds to win the tourney.

I know he plays them all and that is what we do too.

I play .25 of a unit on his big plays and half of that on the 'longshots'.

So you play all of the picks + the long shots as well? I read under the longshots section that if the book had a top 5/top 10 play that was what the longshots were for...thanks for the info.

Yes I do.

I started off by putting $10 on the regular guys and $5 on the long shots, but I have upped my bets since his 3rd straight winner last year.

That might be a good way to start.

That is how I have done it.

I would not want to miss out on one of those long shots.

Perry was a long shot last week I think.

And I assume that these bets have to be in by tonight or before the tournament starts, is that accurate? I better get them done now..

I'm sure it varies.

But I would do them tonight because they start very early on Thursdays, if I recall.

Hello guys.  Thanks for the thread.  I am not sure I am "worthy", but I will help out anyone who is interested in golf plays.  I answered your PM on the other thread, Bolts.  And thank you to Kuzco for the kind words.  I appreciate it and I hope that some have benefitted from my golf plays.  I am just trying to help out anyone who is interested.  Best of luck to all of you.

I hope this copies right. I think I got all the plays. Trying it very light for the first time, because as you can imagine, playing it for 50 or 100 bucks a golfer is pretty pricy...Hope I got em all. By my math, I spent roughly 110 bucks to get them all...and the only one I'd theoretically lose with is Mickelson...if my math isn't off.

Yeah, definitely not on the 75-1 level, for sure....Jesper Parnevik is 125-1 though.

My odds from my guy are a lot closer to the ones he posted than the ones you have.
