Rather than clutter up several threads with information many aren't interested in, I am starting a thread for me, Bowtime, possibly Goofy and other racing fans who have a passing interest in the ALMS, Rolex and SCCA Racing Series.

The ALMS site has a lot of information but you have to search around for it. 

As soon as I get to see another race of the cars I like , I'll let you know , and you can tell me which class they're in. Also see in Sebring class a #28? Tell about that one

Nice job by the Jayhawks Hawks. I like their chances against Michigan St. I hope at least one of the Big XII teams make the final 4.

Mizzou will have to play the best ball of the season to take down Memphis. I am really proud of the Tigers for a great season, and setting the season mark for wins.

Lizard Lair rules.

#1 - Purple Gieko Tattoos on our toe.

#2 - Purple Gieko T-shirts. 

#3 - On race days we drink something purple - grape juice, grape wine, grape kool-aid.

#4 - On race days we eat something purple - purple Easter M & M's, grape licorce.

#5 - We try to meet at the race in Ohio (is that centrally located for all of us?)  Hawks will do the food, right Hawks??

Super; To honor your requerst.  "Once upon a time there was a Chevrolet Riley Corvette C6 that wanted to race in the GT-2 Class in the ALMS Series.  LG Mortosport picked it up and assigned three great drivers to take him to the races.  They are Lou Gigliotti, Lucas Molo and Eric Curran.  They painted it black with big yellow flames and accents.  When they we all done they decided to paint a big orange (class color) #28 on it.  They all went to Sebring for a 12 hour race last week but had mechanical difficulty after only 77 laps.  They finished 12th in class and promised to do better April 4th in St. Petersburg, FL."

Goofy;  Mid-Ohio is August 8th and Road America is August 16th.  Two weekends in a row?  You might dump me after 8 days together. 

We try to meet at the race in Ohio (is that centrally located for all of us?) Hawks will do the food, right Hawks?? Can you go into more detail about Hawks 'doing the food'? When is that by the way? I really want to get to a race soon. I have a new Mizzou canopy that needs to be broken in.

I believe if we mix the red and silver paint together we get guess what PURPLE!!!   Works for me!!!  I don't look that good in red but will go with the silver.  Like it better than gold anyway.

Super, I don't care if Cousin Bobbie buys and distributes all the Travis shirts he has I am NOT wearing one.  I will continue to hold my grudge!!!!

Goofy, I saw your comments about the guys.  When you look at their bios their photos are kinda goofy.  (No offense intended.)  If you check out the 2008 gallery thay are actually pretty good looking guys.  Of course if you go to Mid-Ohio we;ll just go up and meet them.  http://www.lizardms.com/bestof.htm
