Kansas City dude give it up, your just making yourself look like a moron and showing us in greater detail how bad your team is. MasterAgain way to stick it to him haha I don't always agree with you but you are good at making a point. I do agree that ours is an extremely weak division and how can we predict what the Broncos do? It's practically a new team with a new coaching staff. I doubt they will win more than 8-9 but it will be more than 2.
I'm not worried about the Chiefs. LOL seems as though no one is worried about the Chiefs this season, in fact I'll go out on a limb here and say we rush for 200 yards against that Chiefs defense in at least one game next season. I'll do an avatar bet too if you man up and take it (which you will in more ways then one). It's pretty much a lock that the Broncos will run all over KC next year. Our O-Line is beyond quick and our new excellent RB Knowshon Moreno will give LJ some lessons. The Broncos O-Line and RB/FB going up against that old slow lethargic defense will be something fun to watch (for us anyways).
I didn't realize when I created this thread I would invite such a striking fellow named A_Nation. Someone put the rabbit back in the hat. Broncos will hopefully be just under or above .500. I still see 5-6 wins as a disappointment. I have only seen the Broncos have less then 7 wins maybe 2x at most (Can't remember one in the last 15-20 years other then going 6-10 after Elway left). I just hope we surprise some people this year and Marshall stays. I also hope we get Hillis the ball. Hillis+Moreno=Thunder & Lightning.
Please pass the pipe to the rest of the class, because if you think the O-lines are equal then you have the good stuff that eveyone wants to toke.....
Face it......put the entire package together and the Chiefs still stink.........
As for your comparison of Kyle Orton vs Matt Cassel..........we'll see what happens when Cassel drops back and realizes he no longer has Randy Moss and Wes Welker to throw to. That's if he can even get back in the pocket because your O-line sucks........
As for Kyle Orton......the jury is still out. But I can tell you this.....he probably likes the idea of throwing the ball behind one of the best O-lines in the league to one of the best WR groups in the league......
You might be on to one thing though.......the Chiefs have a habit of being good once every 4 or 5 seasons.......maybe this year is the year! But then again....when they are good it never matters since they have not won a playoff game since Michael Jackson was the Thriller.........
You also realize the NFL doesn't like you. Durring the retro games this year, your helmets will have a big old state of Texas on them. Thus rendering the Kansas City Chiefs non-existant. Fine by me.
Classic.......Great smack "master"......
The Chiefs are the Washington Wizards of the NFL......sure they won a championship back in the day, but nobody remembers it and nobody cares about them..........
It is interesting how your new coach had such a love affair with Matt Cassel that he secretly tried to deal for him. Then Pioli pulls the mat out from under them, and they are still reeling to this day. You guys realize that your own players hate Denver. Then you guys try to say Kansas City's franchise is irrelevant. I think it's time for you guys to step down from the thin air, and realize how difficult it is going to be for you to build a winning franchise in the future. Did I mention that your own players hate Denver. Lets face it, Shanahan was the only steady force keeping you guys relevant.
Orton is 21-12 with very little offensive help lets say that he has driven a Ford. Cassel is 11-5 (technically 10-5 in games started). Last year there is no question that he drove a Ferrari. In fact he did not even come close to putting up the same numbers that Brady threw up with the same exact offense around him. I am not sold on Orton either but that is a silly statement. I think this is probably more accurate; Cassel = Mitchell.
Did I mention that your own players hate Denver.
HHHMMM, what about L.J. and T. Gonzalez???? They could not get out of K.C. fast enough.
You lost ALL credibility when you said the o-lines for the Broncos and Chef's are equal. That is a completely ridiculous statement. If you want to make a point don't be an idiot. There are plenty of good posters from other teams that come on the Bronco board and consistently make good points and are respected. You are just a fool with a computer.....
You are right. The Chiefs players do hate Denver. The fact that you continue to be moronic with your posts proves to us that you know absolutely nothing about the sport of football. You've been called out several times on posts and have yet to bring any validity to your statements. I've offered you a challenge and you didn't accept it so I'm going to extend another offer to you...another challenge if you will. I challenge you to provide some sort of a valid point as to why the Chiefs O-Line is equal to the Broncos O-Line.
I don't think Marshall stays with the Broncos this season. The reason for the delay on trading him is that Denver is still evaluating where they need help. Trading Marshall two weeks ago would not have addressed their needs effectively.
Therefore, Marshall WILL be traded, but it may not come for a little while. Some of you have come back with the comment...they picked up Jabar Gaffney and we have Moreno and Buckhalter. Well, let's look at something real closely here:
Gaffney has caught a whopping total of 15 TDs in 7 seasons...that's 2 TD/ season. Nice pick-up! Seriously, Gaffney is good for gaining 1st downs on short pass plays. He has only 3 plays for more than 40 yards in 256 career receptions. He is NOT Brandon Marshall. Heck, he's not even a candidate to start at WR. If Gaffney starts at WR for the Broncos, they are in huge trouble.
Moreno is a rookie and you never know how rookie RBs are going to respond. Guys like A. Peterson are very rare. Moreno could be good, but he is a question mark until we see him in action at the NFL level. There was a lot of talk about how good McFadden will be for the Raiders, and he hasn't shown me anything yet. Let's hope Moreno does better than that this season.
And let's stop with the Buckhalter talk. He is going to turn 31 in October and you know what happens to RBs in their 30s. Buckhalter has started only 16 games in his 8-yr career. He does have good hands and there is a place for him on 3rd downs....but, seriously, nobody here as an answer for losing Cutler and Marshall on offense.
Orton, Moreno, Buckhalter, and Gaffney??? I think my prediction of 6-10 might be generous.
Playoffs? are you talking about playoffs? Jim Mora
