Blake Griffin certainly is going at number 1.  What happens after that?  Who are going to be the movers and shakers in the NBA draft tomorrow?

Celtics certainly seemed to be trying to move things around.  Rajon Rondo must have really ruffled some feathers up there

The Bucks were obviously freeing up money yesterday by dealing Richard Jefferson.  What future moves do they have in the works

The Bucks are getting smart.  They know they won't be contending this next year so they wheel and deal to free up for the summer of 2010.  They have two building blocks in Andrew Bogut and Michael Redd with some good role players coming off the bench: Luc Mbah a Moute, Ramon Sessions, Joe Alexander, although yet to be seen, Charlie Bell, and now Kurt Thomas (via trade from Spurs).  What the Bucks don't have, they can get in the summer of 2010 or in this draft coming up.  Look for a point guard at the ten spot (i.e. Jrue Holiday, Jonny Flynn, Jeff Teague) or for Jordan Hill if he falls.  If they go for a point guard, it will probably be the end for Luke Ridnour in a Bucks uniform and if they get Jordan Hill, expect Charlie Villanueva to move on.

Does anyone else think Ricky Rubio is going to be a bust?  I am sorry, tons of talent but against soft competition.  He does not impress me enough to be the number 2 pick, that is for sure

I'm on the edge with Rubio.  I'm not too fond of taking a chance on an international player with a Top 5 pick.  International players usually turn out to be busts, most noticeably Darko Milicic.  I think there are around 10 international players every year and we hear from 1 for the rest of our lives...the risk would be too much for me at the No. 3 spot.

On the flipside, the most noticeable international players in the NBA are point guards (i.e. Jose Calderon, Tony Parker, Steve Nash, Sergio Rodriguez, Juan Jose Barea, etc.) so there appears to be an easier transition for point guards from the international level to the NBA.

I've seen YouTube videos and the kid has skill; he's 18; he's been compared to Pete Maravich and Steve Nash so he has everything going for him but I'm most worried about the physical aspect.  I don't think he has the speed, the strength, or the quickness to keep up with the better point guards in the league.

I think we are down to about 8 hours before the draft now.  Seems like lots of activity with NBA teams in the last 24-48 hours, could be a high voltage draft.  I am looking forward to it

i agree, i think ricky rubio along with most european players are very soft. This is deffintly a very weak draft this year. even blake griffen has some flaws, they say his arms are really short and he doesnt have a NBA shot yet. it will be interesting to see who trades their picks. and if the Cavaliers cant win after they got shaq they are never gonna win

I really hope that the Bucks don't take a guy like Stephon Curry(He probably won't be there anyways) or Jrue Holliday as neither really were productive last season. Flynn would be the guy I really hope they take though, and it seems he is the guy that they are going after. If DeRozan falls to them though, it might be too much not to pass because his potential and how well he played really showed that he could average 17-18 points this season IMO.

Sounds like Curry may go as soon as No. 4... The guy can shoot, but I think that's waaaay to high.

Spot on. I see "Darko #2" written all over this guy. Just because he can show some flash against Spanish players doesn't mean he can be a scorer in the NBA. I think he'll still be able to distribute the ball, but past that, I'm not exactly sold.

Eh... guess I'd better get to work. Enjoy the draft guys.

Not sure why this draft is considered so weak. There hasn't been this many guards with superstar potential (although with question marks as well) in a while, with guys like Tyreke Evans, Brandon Jennings, Jonny Flynn, James Harden, and DeMar DeRozan. Even guys like Jrue Holiday, Jeff Teague, and Gerald Henderson are intriguing.

I think Nick Collison is being overlooked. That dude makes big shots, can defend, and can lead a team.

If the Suns draft B.J. Mullins, i'm going to Steve Kerr's house first thing tomorrow morning to do some vandalizing.
