I just don't get it!! I will not argue that the Raiders' offense is a sizeable step down from the Chargers', but to say that Denver's offense will be second and that there is a big drop-off from there to the Raiders' is just beyond me. Granted, if Cutler were still there, if everything was rosy in Denver, then I might agree, but Cutler is gone, Marshall wants out, and they have a brand new coach bringing in a brand new system. On top of that, they have Orton as the starting QB. While he is no slouch, he comes from a run first offense that was power packed with Forte. They even go so far as to say that the Denver offense could very well hinge on the running game this year. OK, how long has it been since Denver has dedicated to a run first offense? And who is running the ball? An unproven rookie, a career back-up, and an over-the-hill power rusher. How is this offense going to be a big step above the Raiders who have 3 proven RB's, one of whom can take it to the house at any moment? Sorry, but I just had to vent after reading the post below: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afcwest/ 0-3-2423/Who-has-the-best-offense-i n-the-AFC-West-.html
