I have read that Peter Jok maybe the overall #1 player in the country. I also read that Peter Jok was offered a scholarship to U of I.

Illinois assistant Jerrance Howard was glued to the Foster-Jok matchup. Make it four offers in the Class of 2013 that Illinois will have extended.

4 scholarships to some big names. Looking good if we can land them.

I have believed for a long time that Jerrance Howard was a key ingredient of the resurgence in Illinois' recruiting. The number of recruits that Howard has had a hand in recruiting or factored into their interest is phenominal. Give the while staff kudos for turning our recruiting around and also for getting a couple of their recruits locked up early and seeing their potential before it became obvious.

Coach Jerrance Howard and Jay Price are the keys to recruiting.  Howard is building a name for himself at Illinois and he's building great relationships in the state.

Make no mistake, though, the man that pulls the trigger is Coach Weber and he's doing a fantastic job.  Weber works too hard to fail.

The fact that the players now committing to Illinois where at a very impressionable age when the Illini were flyin' high on the way to the National Title game.

This along with Coach Weber and his staff being more aggressive in the recruiting game has turned the recruiting success around at Illinois.

GO ILLINI!
