I know it's a little early, but now we know how the rosters are going to look like, so here are my 2009-10 SEC Predictions.

EAST                                                                        WEST

1) Kentucky- NCAA bid                                              1) Mississippi St.- NCAA bid
2) Tennessee- NCAA bid                                           2) Ole Miss- NCAA bid
3) Florida- NCAA bid                                                 3) Auburn- NIT bid
4) Vanderbilt- NCAA bid                                            4) Arkansas- NIT bid
5) South Carolina- NCAA bid                                      5) LSU
6) Georgia                                                                 6) Alabama

Kentucky has a great recruiting class, which puts them at the top of the whole SEC.

Tennessee will contend with Kentucky for the east, if they find a point guard.

Florida has turned their weak frontcourt into a stregnth, getting Georgetown transfer Vernon Macklin and letting Alex Tyus play his natural position. 5-star Kenny Boynton will help in the backcourt, too.

Vanderbilt returns all five starters and gets stud freshman John Jenkins.

South Carolina will make some noise, getting Devan Downey and Dominique Archie back, but the loss of Zam Fredricks will hurt.

Georgia will just be plain awful next year, losing their top scorer in Terrance Woodberry.

Mississippi St. will be far and away the best of the west. They will dominate inside with Jarvis Varnado, and they were the #1 three shooting team in the SEC last year.

Ole Miss might have the best backcourt in the SEC next year, with Terrico White and Chris Warren, but they need a big man to contend with Mississippi St. next year.

Auburn also has a great backcourt, but they will be a very similar team to last years NIT team.

Arkansas has the talent to win, as they did last year. But the question is, will they put it together on the court?

LSU gets back star Tasmin Mitchell and point guard Bo Spencer, but the losses of Marcus Thornton, Chris Johnson, and Garret Temple will be too much to make any tournament.

The rebuilding stage is in stage for Alabama, but lets see what Anthony Grant can do with what he has. It won't be much.
