Hey, before the bashing starts the Chiefs need a WR and we need a DT. The Chiefs have even moved Dorsey to DE and we know that is not his position. I'm sure he would love the change of scenery as well as the change back to DT. As for Bey we know this was a horrible pick for us ( Al Davis) for the guy just can't catch or fight for the ball once it's in the air  and if we can get from under it with an upgrade at DT then I'm all for it and the Nation should be as well. We have to stop the run and since we Al screwed up again by drafting this guy instead of B.J. Raji ( the pick I preferred) we can at least be through with this future bust. $$man has spoken.

Why would they trade for a guy that more than likely will be cut or moved within the next season for much, much cheaper? DHB hasnt even played a FN game in the NFL yet. I guess you havent read that DHB is getting increasingly better with each passing day with his hands and pulled down his best grab as a Raider in practice today.

Look everybody wants a DT, but it wont be addressed this year UNLESS things go south very quickly with Shaun Rogers in Cleveland and still probably not than. Al WILL get a DT this offseason if these guys continue to struggle, Ill bet the ranch on it. But he will blow all of them up. Tommy Kelly will be entering the big money part of his deal and if he doesnt show he is worthy of that money this year he will be restructured or cut, Sands is already gone he just doesnt know it yet and Warrens contract is up at the end of the year. These guys better get it in gear or be prepared to retire young men which might be what they want anyway.

Dude, do you follow Jerry McDonald's twitter?

Do you read any of the article/blogs from reporters at practice?

They talk about him dropping some, but that he makes as many or more great catches.

Jerry McDonald estimated that if they threw it to him a bunch the practices he's seen would equate to 1 drop a game but that his athelticism is awesome.  Why would you want to trade him before seeing what he can do?

Al didn't want Dorsey last year, why would he want him after seeing him struggle for a year in a 4-3?

You must have forgotten that Bey has more quaranteed money than Dorsey coming so get rid of that contract as well. That's what the trade is for. If he is cut there is no guarantee of him being here. Hey even you and I can make a  nice catch every blue moon. His problem is that he misses too many bunnies. I say get rid of him if the Chiefs come a calling.

I've seen 1 catch for 8 yds in two games. Yeah awesome atheleticism but no talent or skill set. Did you see B.J. Raji dominate the Bill's OL? Just sayin.

We have depth a wr. Hell even Samie Parker had more yds receiving than Bey this preseason. Jonathan Holland. Nick Miller. Wlll Franklin, hell I wouldn't be surprised if Shawn Beyes has more receptions or yds. We have four dorks on our DL that are constantly bullied around and I believe Dorsey could go to DT and move Kelly to DE where we may be better vs the run for we could'nt possibly get worse.

You were bashing Davis for cutting Sulak before we knew what we had with him and now you want to do the same with our first round pick? Kinda hypocritical dont ya think?

Hey, we've seen this guy in camp as well as two preseason games and he is not nearly consistent to warrant his draft status so that being hypo is moot Cable guy. I ca'n't  name one guy he has outplayed on our roster partner but I won't be a hater. If he gets lucky and catches at least 5 passes vs the Saints I'll praise him until the Donks game.

Rod were you dropped on your head as a child?

No way Al gives up Beys speed for a linemen. Also no way Al trades that kind of speed within our Division. Also as someone else stated he passed on Dorsey last year why would go get him this year after passing on Raji. You just make no sense.  But hey I guess your entitled to your opinion.

rod money doesn't need any ganja to be the douche he is.

Rod were you dropped on your head as a child?
Whether he was or wasn't doesn't matter.  He is just natrually retarded.  That's why the doctor repeatedly punched his mom when he was born.

No, I wasn't dropped on my noggin dudebut who other than you and Mr.Senile care about speed. It's about skill set, talent, instincts and making plays which Bey does not have or has failed to do. By the way, did'nt Raji dominate the OL of the Bills? Wish we had took him now. for Bey sucks balls.

After todays practice:

Raiders coach Tom Cable on WR Darrius Heyward-Bey's spectacular catch: "I told him, 'Your mistake is you showed me you could do that. And so now the expectation goes up.' He had a great day catching the ball. That catch would be difficult for anybody."

And if they trade him, all of his bonus money is accelerated into this season.  Not going to happen.

I wanted Raji too, but we didn't take him so now I'm gonna support and root for the guy they did take.  To do otherwise would be an excercise in futility.

I wanted Raji too, but we didn't take him so now I'm gonna support and root for the guy they did take.  To do otherwise would be an excercise in futility. That pretty much sums it up. If I could support players like Stuey, Gibson and Brayton because of the decal on the helmet, you best believe I'm gonna support someone who has yet to show what he can do on game day.

Look rod, this is the team we love. Yes, it's being handled by a madman, but there's not much we can do about it.

He passed on Dorsey last year. Passed on both Raji AND Brace this year (and Orakpo, BTW). What would make you think of something like this?

I read on another thread that maybe last week's run D debacle was intentional in an effort to show Big Al how anemic we are. All I can say is I hope that theory proves to be true.
