Cody Ransom isnt on the Yankees any more... I know, and I mentioned it in the post above yours... the other option for a close OPS+ was Kevin Cash, but ultimately they decided to go with Ransom at SS.
How many times are you going to do a different version of this same thread, Steve? This is at least 3 by my count. The Yankees could bat the pitcher instead of the DH in this series and still win easily.

I don't think that nay series is a walk in the park, and therefore I want my best team out there every single time. I think it's absurd to sacrifice Jorge's offense because of a supposed "level level" of a pitcher who is no guarantee to do any better with Molina.
And the reason for this thread was in response to all the replies like yours... my question is, at what point would it be deemed too much to do for a pitcher's comfort level? How about if we swap A-Rod for Ramiro Pena too? I'm just wondering where that cutoff point is.
