Well ceeski, With Junior Seau coming in to shore up depth at ILB, someone had to go. They weren't going to cut someone that can play STs since Junior doesn't so that left Galloway or Terdell Sands. And since Sands hadn't played all that much and DL is a position of strength right now, Sands lost out.
I think Joey Galloway likewise is on a short leash. I think he will play this weekend against the Titans, and I think the Patriots will be giving him lots of looks on offense. If he can't get open and make catches against a secondary that is really beat up right now, then he'll be gone by Monday morning and you'll see them try to make a deal for someone.
I think this week, they will try to take some heat off of Moss by letting Galloway run deep routes, which is what he's better at anyway. They need to get teams to respect the other side of the ball. They are covering Randy Moss with a corner and doubling over the top with the deep safety. Wes Welker can't help with that since he is the slot underneath guy. The have gotten some help with Benjamin Watson and Chris Baker at TE but need the WR slot on the other side to take up the slack and it hasn't this season at all.
This week should tell the tale.
