Anytime I see the flashback games on NFL Network, and they show the 2007 game Patriots vs Giants in Superbowl It just hard for me to watch till this day when people replay it I just get sick too my stomach when I see David Tyree snatching that ball from Rodney Harrison. Till this day I just get flashbacks of it and makes my stomach not feel good cause I was watching Sunday Night Football pregame and they were showing it today, and Rodney was saying that catch was more painful then his two knee surgeries. I feel Rodney's pain cause I was at that game wearing a Tom Brady jeresy and watching does Giant fans celebrating infront of us thousand or more Patriots fans at that game It made me sick to my stomach and I couldn't sleep for days it was on my mind for weeks. But I forgot about it since then but the thing that brought It back up was the Sunday Night Football pregame while they were asking Rodney about it had me have to make a thread about It. Just wondering what could of happened if Rodney broke up that play from David Tyree I'm not begin a sore loser I forgot about it from 2 years ago I moved on just wondering we could of won that game just one play that changed that game. What if we sacked Eli game would of been over just a tough thing to watch that day as a Pats fan as all the successful season we had winning the previous three superbowls. That was  a terrible day witness of that game live In Arizona hope we win this year and erase that bad memorie of 2007 superbowl.

Anytime they play the NFL Films highlight video of that Super Bowl, I can't watch it either. I'll be the first to give credit to the Giants-- they simply outplayed the Patriots that day... but I can't help but be upset about how close the Patriots came to winning that game.  Had they won, I don't think there is any doubt that they would have been billed as the greatest team in the history of the NFL.  And it makes me wonder if the outcome would have been any different had the Giants not faced the Pats in the final week of the regular season and gone toe-to-toe with them-- perhaps their game planning would have been a little different.

But the funny thing is, we can look back on it now and see just how weak or defense really was at the time, and how the offense had been covering for them that whole time.  Maybe if that loss hadn't have happened, there wouldn't have been such a wholesale move to get younger and quicker (which I believe is a move that will keep the Pats a viable SB contender for the next several seasons).  So in a strange way,  I almost think that loss could end up benefiting the organization in the long run, just as perhaps having to play without Tom Brady did last season.

not to take any credit from the Giants(amazing catch) but it pains me when they say "how did eli get away" as we all watch richard seymours and Adalius Thomas's facemask getting twisted around their head =(. When Tony Dungy broke down the play you could see for some odd reason Asante Samuel left his route and just stood there and Rodney head to come back and try to break it up.

I though the game with the Colts the previous year couldn't have been any worse. That catch changed me as a fan forever. and there is no doubt that if Eli had been sacked we'd be running around saying not 4 but 5 time super bowl champs. If it weren't for that play Tom Brady wouldn't have played the Chiefs and Bernard Pollard couldn't have hurt him All these Ifs kill me.
