Ravens deff need to step it up. if we dont win this one i think our season is done because we face way better teams then that. the Vikings and Bengals beat us what the hell. it all matters about the W not how close you were to winning. all the other ravens fans are saying bad calls and soooo close... hey we played like crap in crunch time and about the calls umm we shouldnt be taking chances we already know how the refs and all the nfl feel about the ravens. i dont think Broncos d will be able to handle us and our d should have been working hard at corner this week in practice.
if we dont win this one i think our season is done because we face way better teams then that. You do realize the Broncos are 6-0 right now, right?
i dont think Broncos d will be able to handle us This is the #1 scoring D in the NFL. They have given up a total of 3 points in the 2nd half of the last 3 games to the Patriots, Cowboys and Chargers. I wouldnt expect too much from your offense if I were you, I think 17 is the max they score.
d should have been working hard at corner this week in practice. The Broncos have been improving every week in their new offense, the Ravens run D has been suspect and the Broncos are looking pretty sharp. I think the Broncos with 31-17.
I am going with my heart this week and picking Baltimore. I have yet to break any furniture during this 3 week losing skid, and I don't know if I can hold myself back if we drop our 4th in a row. The schedule has not been kind to the Ravens thus far; counting this week, their past 3 opponents have a combined 3 losses. This still does not factor in facing Pitt 2x and Indy, which will come up later this year.
I think a trade is in order. If the Broncos are willing to exchange Mike Nolan for Greg Mattison, I say we should forfeit the game to them.
I wouldnt expect too much from your offense if I were you, I think 17 is the max they score. Why shouldnt we? You have a solid defense, but our offense has been pretty strong too....thats not where we are struggling, its stopping the other team from throwing. Plus, right now, we are still hoping to be contenders, so I think its perfectly valid to expect a lot from our offense and defense. Now, whether they deliver or not, different story.
"Bad calls" are inevitable, even if there were Instant Replay for everything, a good team overcomes those and wins or moves forward. I believe both of these teams are overrated - The Ravens offense is at it's best ever, with Joe Flacco running the show. That should say (little) enough. The defense hasn't gotten any younger in the last 10 years either, although they're still a force to be reckoned with. The Broncos haven't really impressed me, yet they've managed to win, which is as previously mentioned: what matters. Kyle Orton does little to contribute, but he's been effective enough not to blow any games. Broncos defense...well, we'll just wait & see at the end of the year if that ranking holds up, although I like the odds of bettering themselves against the Ravens. Real shoot-out here. Denver 13, Baltimore 10. Snore.
Im not sure what the line is on this game but I have to believe The Broncos have to be the favorite over the struggling Ravens. Kyle Orton has done a great job managing the game and his offense. Has he put up huge numbers? No he has not, but he has put up 6 all important numbers and those are in the Win column. Joe Flacco has been a huge suprise in my opinion and is capable of putting enough points on the board to threaten the Broncos. IMHO the Broncos D is for real and they go on the win a nail biter 17-14
I do not think its a very good matchup at all. Were talking about a very good Bronco team vs the Ravens? Denver is rolling and the Balt Ravens are reeling. I expect a 10 pt win by Denver...........I am being very safe here. At 1st glance I would go with 14..........but 10 is good and safe spread.
Im not sure what the line is on this game but I have to believe The Broncos have to be the favorite Ravens minus 3 and I will give the points Ravens 24-13
Reeling. From three losses decided by an average of less than 4 points in the last seconds of each game against good teams. Yeah the Ravens must be a terrible team then...
I will say that, with the situation of the Ravens defense the past few games, the Broncos might have a slight advantage, but if you think this game won't be close, then you're terribly mistaken. <!-- Session data-->
I'm picking an upset on this one, 31-21 Baltimore. Denver has looked great but this is a statement game for Baltimore.. The statement is "we are a viable team in this league". Whether or not the statement will be made, I will be looking forward to watching this one (assuming it is televised in my area). I do not route for either team, fyi....but I do like football.
I cannot back up my prediction with anything except that the Ravens D is better than they have been playing, and Kyle Orton is not as good as he has been playing (and yes I have watched the games or the replays of them on NFL network). If Orton has truly turned the corner and become a solid QB (which we won't truly know until at least the rest of this season) then I will be the first to say I was wrong.
I'm picking an upset on this one, 31-21 Baltimore. Its not an upset if the favored team wins if they game was in Denver then Denver would be giving the 3 points
"but if you think this game won't be close, then you're terribly mistaken."
Hey I have been wrong before..........just past Sun I was wrong.........I thought my 6-0 Vikings were for real............... Well absolutly Yes I was............. "mistaken"
I still think the Ravens have too many holes........................at least a10 pt spread in this game!
I don't care what the oddsmakers say, I say if the Ravens win it's an upset (yes simply based on record and current state of team momentum). But point well taken, and I will stand corrected.
