It's hard to really criticize Wise for having a high number of turnovers...he was the only PG on the team and he played a ton of minutes...he had the ball in his hands a whole lot, which increases turnover numbers

I find it to be really easy to criticize Wise for his high turnover numbers.

It's not like the turnovers came from incessent on-ball defense. It came from poor decision making after he's broken down the defense and made his way into the paint. If Wise can limit his turnovers after getting past the initial defender, the 'Cats could very well take third in the conference. If he consistently tries to do too much and has a repeat performance of last year in regards to turnovers, the 'Cats could wind up 6th in the conference, easily.

Wise is the most crucial player on the team this year, and not because other guys can't score.
