So the season starts in just a few weeks (HOORAY!), so I figured it would be a good time to start sign-ups for non-conference Pick 'Em.
If you are interested in doing the PAC-10 Pick 'Em for non-conference play, just reply to this thread. We will do a non-conference champ, a conference champ, and full-season as well. Additional sign-ups for conference play only will begin a few weeks before conference play begins.
If you are able to help track again this year, please send me a PM and we'll get things going.
The rules will be the same as last year. The exception is with the addition of non-conference early season tournaments like the Mauii Invitational and Pre-season NIT. For those tournaments pick by round whether you think a given team is going to win or lose. Once you get it wrong, the remainder of your tournament picks are disqualified.
For example, if you pick Arizona to win in both the first and the second round of the Mauii Invitational, but they lose in the opening round, you won't get credit for a second round, consolation bracket win. But if you pick them to lose in the opening round but win in the second round and that happens, you will get credit for both rounds. In otherwords, you get points for each game you pick exactly correct - not just win or loss, but if it is in the consolation or winners bracket as well (regardless of opponent).
