Alright so today Mr. Knight was supposed to visit Ku right.. i suppose its still the 31st so no one will know anything yet but as soon as anyone hears anything let us know. Brandon is a great player and the way Bill Self coaches i know he would be prepared for his future career. Kansas is a great basketball school and  he would love the atmoshere, and the national attention that Ku gets would be good for him too.

Brandon Knight's official visit to Kansas is complete. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard from Pine Crest High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., touched down in Lawrence on Thursday evening and just recently returned home. What did the No. 1 ranked player in the 2010 class think about his time in Lawrence? Jayhawk Slant has the latest update on Knight, including his next visit date and destination.

Bill Self had originally planned to have Knight visit during the weekend of Late Night in the Phog. However, Homecoming at Pine Crest High School prevented the five-star floor general from making the trip.

While the visit was first planned for October 16, Knight and his family ultimately had to reschedule. After several weeks, Knight and his family decided to trip to Kansas this past weekend.

What, if anything about Knight's third official visit, stood out the most?

"Brandon didn't have just one host this weekend," said Efrem Knight. "He hung out with all of the guys on the team. I know he liked the trainer at Kansas. I think that part of the visit impressed him. The school is a great school. Kansas is a great place and Brandon really liked his visit.

"Coach Self was basically himself this weekend," he added. "He was just himself, which we liked. I liked watching practice during the visit. The practice at Kansas was very intense. That is one part of the visit that stood out to me."

Having visited three of the six schools remaining on his list, Knight still has two official visits remaining. However, it's not yet known if he will need both visits.

Florida, Miami-FL and Syracuse all still in-the-mix, and one of the aforementioned schools will receive a visit in the very near future.

"I think Brandon is going to arrange to be at Florida on November 13," he said. "As far as Kansas goes, they are still in the running. We are going to do our visits and then we will sit-down and go from there.

"Kansas is definitely still in the running," he added.

"The visit to Kansas went real good," said Efrem Knight, the father of Brandon Knight. "We really had a great time during our weekend trip to Kansas. We got in on Thursday evening and then went and ate breakfast with some of the guys on Friday morning. We also watched Kansas practice and then met with some academic people after we watched practice.

"Brandon was able to do quite a bit during his visit this weekend," he added. "We all had a great time. It was a great experience for us."

Knight, the top-ranked point guard in the 2010 class, is no stranger to the visit process. The Florida native took an official visit to Kentucky during the weekend of September 19. The following weekend, he was on Connecticut's campus.

I think Knight is a hometown boy and he is going to end up playing for Billy Donovan.
