RR I think you have the names right, but I think perhpas your numbers are a bit high. Kendall shooting better then 45% from behind the line, and Tre shooting better then 80% at the line would be great, but I think is going to be tough to reach.

My theory on Kendall is this. With the likes of Jasper, Chace, and Tre'Von driving, penetrating and getting into the paint a lot, I think that'll make for A LOT of wide open, pop out 3's for both Kendall and Oscar. When Kendall is WIDE OPEN, he's just deadly. When he's struggled from deep in the past, it's been when guys ran out after him and forced him to rush the shot.
Jasper, in particular, will force defenses to collpase on him when he drives into the paint. His ability to pass out off the drive will lead to a lot of wide open looks from deep. Kendall shot 41% from deep last season. I think...thanks to having a better caliber of athlete on the court with him...that'll lead to more clean looks and thus a higher shooting % than last season.

As far as Tre? I just think the shoulder being healthier and him not having to play the point this year will help him a lot at the line. Maybe he doesn't get to 80%, but I definitely think he, at the very least, flirts with it.
74% to 80+% is definitely an ambitious jump, but I think Tre'Von is capable of making that jump.

Great article I agree with most and think it is very likely our players hit these higher marks. I do think Chase will be our leading scorer as long as he stays free from injury and his ankle doesn't nag him all season long. I also think Kruger will make DJ stay back a little more for transition defense and he wont be quite as high on rebounds or blocks. I do think he will get his fair share. I also think with the threats DJ will have around him he will be closer to 7 asists per game and I could see him as the leading steals per game in the entire MWC.

Jasper, in particular, will force defenses to collpase on him when he drives into the paint. Yeah, he was pretty good at UK, and he's healthy now. He could very will be Mountain West POY.
