Now, granted, this means very little (probably) but it still gets a lot of people talking in a negative light about a Syracuse team that is supposed to be very good this year in the BIG EAST. Last year, UNLV played well enough in the early games to win but didn't really put anyone away like they should've - kind of let people hang around, you know, couldn't quite put them away.  We've got Washburn on the radar and they will probably bring their 'A' game so we really can't let down.  I'm not saying that if they beat us it's the end-of-the-world but we really don't want any negative talk about the program.  We really can't even afford to let them "hang around" like we did in most early games last season - the negative smack that leaves in everyone's mind is bad enough. Let's get it on Runnin' Rebels!

I can guarantee if we loose to Washburn it will be brought up consistently throughout the season.  We need to put teams’ away early and not leave games up to chance.  We all see what happened last year when we did that.

Now, that's what I'm talking about!

...another one!  Where will we be with Washburn?  101 - 63?
