It is great that Shane Victorino is back in the line-up tonight. Didn't think the Phillies would have take him out either. Course I didn't think they would the other night either.
But why in the world is Ben Francisco starting tonight over Raul Ibanez? Is this simply for defense? But the Phillies NEED to win tonight so wouldn't they put their "offensive" line-up in there?
I know Raul Ibanez is a lefty and facing Andy Pettitte might hurt but again, why are the Phillies playing a "defensive" game instead of an "offensive" game? First the Phillies show no confidence in Brad Lidge and now they aren't sticking with Ibanez.
LMAO then what a freaking awfully awful written article I just read. Did not mention a thing about Raul Ibanez playing. Well I feel like an idiot then.

No, he is not the odd man out. Matt Stairs does not deserve to play anymore. He is a strike out of a double play canidate and that's it.Not quite it Yawkee. He still hits home runs at a decent clip. In fact, for his career, his homer to at bat ratio is better than guys like Justin Morneau, Todd Helton, and even Johnny Bench.

BUT, haven't those 3 had MORE ABs then Matt Stairs? So that would help that average a bit.
May I respectfully suggest you try engaging brain BEFORE you start typing. What fun is that? I get by here just fine without that skill..............., usually.
True considering he gets what 1 or maybe 2 at bats during a game. THAT my friend, is why it seems like he is so "hit and miss". It is because he is, and has to go multiple games between hits and/or homers.
