Ok guys there is a petition going around to sign and try to get Wheat's 32 in the rafters.

One player that has sadly never been recognized is DeJuan Wheat. He was a star at U of L from 1993-97, becoming the first player in NCAA Division I history to have career totals of at least 2,000 points, 450 assists, 300 three-point field goals and 200 steals. His accomplishments far surpass numbers as he was also a fan favorite.

Here is the link everyone needs to sign.

I remimber Wheat, His Big game winning shot at Arkansas, The big game he put up against Uk in 95 at home , well quite frankly he was big in almost any game he played in! I Can remimber most in his junior season we were tied with Wake Forest (tim Duncan) and he took the game winning shot and missed, I really felt bad for him! But I felt worse the next season when he didnt even get to play against North Carolina in the elitle 8 becuase of a leg injury. Wish he could have gone all out that game! Still he was an all time cardinal great and a local kid at that, he was really good!

trutodaville27, Thanks for spreading the word. D. Wheat is my nephew and he deserve this and his jersey needs to be hanging up. Not only for basketball but, what Dejuan do in the community. What a positive role model. Smile
