Look at the schedule, we wil be an under dog in every game the rest of the season. I don not know if I could stomach finishing 2-14, with the talent we have. It is becoming cliche, but we need to clean house NOW!

10 moves that must be made NOW and 1st day of off season!

1. Fire ZORN- I get ill looking at his lost reactions on the sidelines.
2. Release/Trade- Randal El
3. Release/Trade- Devin Thomas- I would take Vick even up- Not a fan of Vick, but Thomas is useless.
4. Start- Marko Mitchell- only true red zone threat on roster- DUH
5. Release/Trade-Malcolm Kelly
6. Release/Trade-Reed Doughty- line up off sides?, makes ZERO plays.
7. Release/Trade-OL- Montgomery- not even serviceable- I will take the player to be named later and start him.
8. Release/Trade- Todd Collins- MAY BE THE WORST SIGNING EVER- he ws hired to teach the offense we ran 3 years ago NO BRAINER
9. Release/Trade- Jason Campell can follow him out the door- Seems like a good kid, but the look on his face looks like ZORN.
10. Fire Vinny- Cut him his last check and have a nice day.

I actually would make a couple more moves, but this would be a start. Comments? AND YES I would like to apply for the GM position. I know several of these moves may not be CAP friendly, but who cares 2-14 is on the horizon.

Randle El- Could never get a trade done.. his contract is too big for his skill level.  He would have to be cut outright.  As a matter of fact, I don't really see anyone on the roster with any real trade value.

1.  I agree, Zorn is not an NFL Head Coach.
2.  Antwan Randel El was brought in to return punts....wow, what a great move by Vinny Cerrato.
3.  I would hold off on releasing Devin Thomas until we get a quarterback in here that can actually get him the ball.  He may be a weapon.
4.  I agree, Marko is a true reciever.  He was thrown to twice and both passes were in traffice and off target, but he had two receptions didn't he?
5.  See number three for my answer on this, I think both of the 2nd rounders can be weapons if we have a quarterback.
6.  Reed Doughty?  I disagree strongly with this, he makes tackles, one of the only guys on the team who knows how to tackle... I would put LaRon Landry up here.  Someone who may still have some trade value who I think is a total bust.  He plays out of position and wiffs on tackles, and he is a thug to boot.  He has cost this team way more over the last two seasons then Reed Doughty, granted the responsibility is greater, but Doughty is a reliable player who made a mistake.
7.  Chances are, if it is a Redskins offensive linemen, no one will trade for him....have you watched the games?
8.  Same with Todd Collins, I would've like to have seen maybe a Chase Daniel retained as opposed to this guy, but then we would've had two back ups with no NFL snaps.
9.  Jason Campbell is out anyways....I wouldn't worry too much about that one.
10.  I hope you are right about this, it would be a sad day in Washington when Danny gives Vinny a contract extension....I would puke on sight.

HAIL!

im ready for 2-14...im ready for that #4 pick and Russell Okung 2...... we have players with trade value: London Fletcher, Chris Cooley, LaRon Landry, Andre Carter (If he gets 10+ sacks), Santana Moss, and Clinton Portis.....

We can get 2nd-4th round picks for all of em...get ready for Mike Vick at starting QB next season....
Randle El and Rock Cartwright need 2 go

Why would we trade Fletch, Cooley, and Andre Carter they are the very few players we have that play like a professional should play consistently, I would be very upset if we let any of these 3 guys go, throw in Rock Cartwright too, he may not be the best football player in the world but he is consistently a solid special teams contributor and a good team guy that every team needs.  We can trade the other 3 guys though for sure, Portis, Moss, and Landry, they are all bums, maybe aside from Moss I like him, but he is getting old and we should trade him while we can.

I am ready for 2-14. I am ready for Dan Snyder to hire a real GM and then let the new GM hire a real NFL coach. Then I will look forward to watching the Redskins rebuild this team from the ground up. It is going to take a couple years however it will be ejoyable to watch the team do what is right for a change! I am excited and hopeful that the end of the season will bring change.

C'mon guys what has "Hope and Change" gotten us so far? A lot of nothing.....Danny's ego is too big to hire a new GM, that would be like admitting he was wrong.

Oh, okay. I thought for a moment this was yet another anti-Obama screed...then I saw the "Napoleon of Landover" (aka the "Prima Danna") in this.Tongue out
I saw something today (I don't know where, though) that said if the Feds can nationalize GM and Chrysler, why not the Redskins?? You know, let the Feds eff this up the way they effed up Fannie Mae/Freddy Mac/WaMu/etc. I just thought it was funny, but I wish I could remember where I saw it.Undecided
Yeah, 2-14 is a reality now. That is, unless we beat the Raiders in December. I am not going to hear abuse from Raider Nation if we lose that game!!!Yell

I can definitely see 2-14. Anything better than that would be a bonus, that is how I look at it.  I have to dissagree with you also with Reed Doughty. He has been a play maker this year, he's having a good year after having surgery and coming back, he is determined. Even the announcers are talking about him. LaRon & Hall could take some tackling lessons from the guy. I hope your not basing your opinion on that one off side penaltly, although it was a bonehead one.

Beacuase we got 2 drop a A-Bomb on this whole franchice from Cerrato...down 2 the practice squad players...u gotta look at all the players you have and say, in 4 seasons can they b elite?

The answer with London Fletcher is No...theres no reason 2 let him waste the talent he has left on this team and not get something for him

Andre Carter is 30...how many elite Defensive Ends are there in the NFL?? Zero, and he was never great...plus we got Orakpo (a potential elite pass rusher in this league for 8 or 9 seasons).....Also, with the personel we have it might be better for the Redskins to run a 3-4.... Orakpo at OLB, Hayensworth at NT, Mcintosh and Blades at ILB (Weak and Strong respectivly) Kedrick Golston and Jarmon at DE, and Chris Wilson or a draft pick (George Selvie/O'Bannon at Wisconson) at the other OLB (Just an idea not sayin da skins should do it.) So if he can post 10+ sacks we can move him and get a starter quality pick for him...

Cooley is 27 and just had the 1st serious injury of his career, at da least its a 40% its the first of many injuries that could end his career, we've all seen it happen.....plus a TE  is not 1 of the most important position on the feild and the skins have holes in much more important positions and if u have a good running game, deep reciever, and a tight end coach who can develop a talent, you can go into the 4th or 5th round a create a pro bowl caliber TE, we need the picks we could get from cooley 2 fill alot of holes on this team...we have 2 turn our whole roster over with no cap room in 3 or 4 seasons

Cracker, I don't care who they trade, but you can't say Reed hasn't made any plays or can't tackle. He has had a good year. I speak for this year only. You got race on the brain.

reed is worth peanuts to us his abillity against the run is a bonus people like him because he gives a lot of effort a hell of a lot more than LaRon Landry or Jason Campbell the comparison of doughty to campbell is outrageous btw
