Which one of these guys went from completely useless baseball player to most feared hitter in the universe who singlehandedly delivered his city a title for the first time in 86 years?

How many times did he test positive after the MLB instituted manditory testing?  If Ortiz from 04-present is tainted?  So is everything Pettitte and A-Rod has done...

Sorry if you don't agree...but the logic applies both ways dude...

I can easilly make the argument that A-Rod, coming back from injury had to get PED assistance, and he single handedly carried the Yanks through the 1st 2 rounds of the playoffs this year.  Without him?  The dought is at 9 years and counting...

Can also make the Yankee fan argument that since A-Rod tested positve in 2003, that he OF COURSE has been using his whole life dating back to when he was the most touted HS player in the last 20 years.  Therefore he WOULD HAVE been a useless player since puberty without assistance.

Glass houses PD....glass houses....which was the only reason I brought it up...this nit wit wants to claim 04 and 07 are asterisk worthy?  Than arguing against 09 being equally tainted is flat out stupid....

First of all I already mentioned that I was bustin balls. All teams since roughly 1985-2003 likely had several players using PED's

Than arguing against 09 being equally tainted is flat out stupid....

Every championship is tainted since the steroid era began. In 2009 the Yankees "cheaters" were better that the rest of the league's cheaters nothing to dispute there nitwit.

Actually, any player on the 2004 Red Sox could have hit those walk off hits.

Only one could have stolen second.

Without Ortiz, the game lasts a bit longer.
Without Dave Roberts, the game is over in the 9th.

He still wasnt a good hitter, production numbers wree good

.902 OPS over the last 4 months indicates otherwise....

If he had just sat out the 1st 2 months, and did just what he did in the last 4 months, he would have been made the top 30 in MLB for OPS...

He wasn't AS good as he's been in the past, but he was a solid, and pretty consistent over the last 4 months.

Who predicted on June 1st, when he was hitting .185 with 1 HR that he'd finish with 28 HR's and 98 RBI?

He also managed to club 35 2b's

I'm projecting him around .270/.365/.520 32 HR and around 110 RBI's next year if he stay's healthy and plays in around 150 games or so...

Nice try...do you remember the 2004 team.  There are truly zero respectable Yankee fans out there.

I mean this statement is ignorant.  Have you looked at your own team in the past 11 years.  You lead the league in PED abuse.  I'm not saying you guys are the only ones but please think before you type

A-Rod only had 2 bad postseasons. The rest were either decent or great.

We "lead the league"? Based on what?

Here you go: AROD, Pettitte, Shefield, Clemens, Giambi, Grimsley, Knobloch, Leyritz, Naulty, Velarde, Kevin Brown, Justice, Stanton, Hill

There isn't another team even close to this.

Laughable...

From Game 5 of the 04 ALCS untill 2007 he was essentially worthless...in 2007 he had an .820 OPS...which is just 145 points shy of his career reg season mark.  And only had 1 RBI...he was virtually absent for about 80 or so straight AB's between those dates...
