With new weapons on the perimeter, Demetri McCamey probably won't shoot as much. No problem, said the junior guard (11 points, seven assists).

"I can dominate the game by just getting assists and playing solid for Coach," McCamey said. "It's not all about going out and trying to score. You can pass and still be successful. As long as the team wins, I'm doing my job."

This kind of quote shows the mentality of a leader and a champion!  As impressive as Paul and DJ have been, it is the growth and maturity that D-Mac has shown that really gets me excited about these next 2 years!!  (Of course, two top 20 recruiting classes in a row doesn't hurt!)  As it has been said before, the freshman are a huge addition, but this team will go as far as the upperclassmen take us!

McCamey has the right mindset. And we saw it in his statline. Had like 6 assists, he started off slow but got some more baskets in the 2nd half. But if he plays unselfishly and truly gets everyone involved, then he'll be just fine.
