Corey Williams is still feeling out the color analysis but it's pretty clear at this point that he's not repeating the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again. Thank you Bob Elliot for not being on my television anymore.

He's doing a good job his first game on the job.  He's blending in nicely, and hasn't had any truly DUH comments.  I think he'll work out just fine.

As for the first half, I think the defense really looked pretty good.  Some breakdowns, like Kyryl defending all the out to the 3pt line then getting burned with the feed down low.  But they are really disrupting NAU's offense.  I don't know how turnovers NAU had, but it seemed like a ton, and most of them forced by the Cats.

I would expect defending NAU to be a relatively easy task considering this is a PAC 10 team. But overall I see a lot of sloppy play and a long way to go to be a tournament-worthy team this year. But it sure is nice to have basketball back and no other drama than losing a player for two months of the season.

How well rounded is Solomon Hill's play? Kid has skills....

I loved Corey Williams as a player in the early 90s....I sat in on as many practices as I could & at the time & he was the player that stood out to me...I loved his athleticiism and long, lean frame sprinting up and down the court on breaks...

That's cool  that it is working out for him on local TV in Tucson & that he is involved w/ the CATS...

I remember the good old days when practices were open to the public. I went to Mansfeld Middle School, that pink albatross of a building located next to the rec center, and after school I would head down to McKale and watch practice while I did my homework. I'd also keep my head on a swivel checking out the college girls. Oh yeah.

Thx for the advice regarding posts, scoring, etc....Disappoiinted that there are not more WILDCAT fans in here....Some of these other forums such as Kentucky, Memphis, etc look like they have alot more trafffic (& not just from their own fans)....Personally, I have alot of confidence in our young team as well as Sean Miller's coaching....We are going to see some strong, tough minded Wildcats with the run & gun athleticism that we all love to see...I definitely appreciate Nic Wise and his leadership....I hope that his return to the CATS pays off in the form of an NBA Draft Day Selection in what promises to be a successful career....
