Rankings are only for games through Sunday 11/15. So UCLA's loss on Monday isn't accounted for. So even if UCLA has a huge win against CAL State-Bakersfield, they will likely take a drop in the polls because of their earlier loss. OUCH.
Oregon State looks really really bad and it is really early, but I would have had them at 9 or 10 just based on how they opened the season. Go Cats against Rice tonight!
The Beavers did not look good, and I think they clicked and everything went well last season. But there lack of athleticism will be exposed this season. UCLA also is going to have to come together. They have talent, but it looks disorganized.
Oregon State's youngsters were given the "green light" to shoot and it hurt them. After the 2010 recruiting class comes in next year, Robinson should have them in the top half of the Pac-10. I haven't seen any of the 10 teams play "well" this year. Arizona did look great defensively against Rice - if they pickup Miller's system before the conference season begins, the Cats may realistically finish at the top!
