The last time you "heard those words", they were from someone else bud.
Here's the difference now though. When Tiger was losing a few months ago, he was shooting in the 70's almost every round. And I don't mean the low 70's. And this was in rounds when no names were blowing up the same course and shooting in the mid 60's. Now though, he's in the 60's a coupla times and shoots a 75 on a day when a lot of other so called great players also shot in the mid 70's.
Also when was the last time you saw some of the things from Woods that you saw in this tourny from him?. He hit a 7 iron from 185 to 3 feet and made birdie. He chipped in from 80 feet for birdie. He putted well. His finesse game around the green is coming around also. His drives were crisp. Sure he hit some errant drives, but so did the other big names.
But the biggest thing I see right now is he looks like he believes again. Head up, even after a so-so shot. No shoulder slump that we have seen in the last few months. Not much temper flare up, and so on.
Agree or disagree, you guys know he's fixin ta bring it.

I'll leave ya with some'n to ponder, since some enjoy comparisons of sorts. How many times do you remember Jack Nicklaus ever lose his desire during the course of any day or round in a tournament regardless of whether he could win or not?
Did Jack ever go thru what Tiger has gone thru in the last 18 months? Did Jack ever have a serious injury other than old mans hip dicease in his later years? Did Jack implode his personal life on a Bbiblical scale while in the midst of his prime while the whole world watched and licked their chops fer more dirt???? Did Jack play in a time when if he farted it was caught on live tv...every round, every shot? NO. None of the above.
Jack played in an era where " the good ole boy" network ruled. The wives stayed home and raised babies. There were no cameras and live tv following his every move 24/7. You tellin this board that Saint Jack never got drunk and got into a brawl, or drug some bar-bat back to the hotel room and laid the driver to her???
Jack NEVER faced the kinda pressure Tiger faces today. Jack wasn't chasing any records of the like that Tiger is chasing today. All the media talks about is whether he can catch Jack's 18 majors. Every time Tiger tees it up in one of them tourny's out come the stats, the comparisons, the "can Tiger do it" talk. Every tourny the pressure grows. I'm surprised he didn't implode sooner.
