There's been an official ChrULF sighting on the Pens board. So maybe he's like the Green Goblin now, and the alter ego has taken over the original personality (for lack of better term). Despite how alike they are, ya gotta think anything other than being "ChrisH" has got to be at least a little bit better.. but then again.. it's still ChrisH underneath somewhere, so he's screwed either way.
I just realized I am gonna miss the Fantasy Football Draft AGAIN this year, this time because of work.
Hey FFF, you know you want to move the draft up to 11 or 12 I'm probably going to miss it too. But if anything, move it back! haha...I've got a 1 year old's birthday party to go to.

And something I definitely did not sense while reading it was the level of contempt you seem to have for Luciano, either in his feelings about Earl Weaver, or anyone else. ny-you forget to mention that david wright got beaned too and that messed him up and he was on the DL for weeks. maybe that has something to do with the lack of homeruns..?
fantasy football - no offense, but we all knew the draft time as the board posted it 2 months ago. i don't think it's fair to change it now with the draft 2 days from now when I cleared my schedule for the time it stated. i had other plans too. and tark - the 1 yr old won't remember that you weren't there so ditch it !
im still worried that the website has nothing on it. no team names, divisions, logos, messageboard etc. i guess it will all unfold on sunday.

9'er-perhaps, but after not being in fantasy for 4 yrs and now coming back to 2 free leagues and a mega league, i've seen people try and change the draft date a ton with only days to go bf the draft. people all of a sudden can't make it etc, when we all knew the dates. for the mega draft, the guy is ordering a ton of pizza's and hoagies so everyone has to come on that date as that's the only night off of work he gets.
Can't change the draft time anyways boys, CBS won't let ya! So moot point. I will be there for the draft, I haven't given it ANY thought on who I am going to pick, lol.
Fair enough, Craig. I got the impression you were villifying Luciano and sanctifying Earl, which, in my experience, is not exactly a correct portrayal of Mr. Weaver lol. My bad. :)
PS: for the record, my impression of the two was that they were just a couple of strong willed people who happened to butt heads due to their respective positions. My overall take on their confrontations was that there was no ill will involved either way, just a couple of determined guys doing their jobs, which happened to put them on a collision course.
As for Frank Robinson, no comment one way or another. Dunno anything about his demeanor to speak of, so no opinion there.
