Shelden Williams is stepping up to play a meaning role in the Knicks lineup. I hope that MDA will continue to start him when Turiaf comes back and and continues playing the 10 man rotation. Congrats Knicks, good job and good luck in the playoffs.

Great job by the Knicks they kep their foot on the gas pedal with an early tone by pushing and moving the ball, im not worried bout Cleveland making a run cause the game was slipping and the action was getting dull but the Knicks kept pushing.

Knicks are starting to play with a little more fire and desire. That is a good thing and Shelden Williams is doing well as the starting center. The Knicks are getting a rotation down for the playoffs and I so hope that the Knicks get Miami. Especially if Miami signed the fat toad Curry, it would be awesome to watch Stat posterize him in the playoffs.

Alright brother careful what you ask for keep in mind that Curry is a solid post player I don't give a damn what happened here in NY, Pat Riley and Spoelstra will get the best out of him. D'antoni left the dude to rot instead of using him for what he is good for and thats being one of the better ineterior scorers so im sure he may have some desire to get at the Knicks and hustle for his next contract, and then there is the factor of the other players that can also exploit their positions like Bron, Wade and Bosh along with side players that get clutch plays. With all that said it should be an interesting series and I look for other players to step up seeing it would be NY's first playoffs in seven years, the players adreniling alone should make an impact for the first two games, so lets hope its a good one.... I still choose New York Knicks to upset whom ever as long as Turiaf and Williams are playing tough inside.

Knicks keys to success if Fields can be productive despite his reduced role his rebounding and defense can be huge along with whatever points he can provide. Ronny Turiaf would need to be that energetic plug off the bench at the center position for the second unit to stand a chance normally would have him as the starting center but Williams has shown better offense at the five. then there is Billy Walker who is gonna have to be aggressive whenevr he gets in the game, as far as the starters, Toney Douglas and Shawne Williams just need to raise their level of play on both ends of the court and look for an upset to happen...

If the Knicks went after Omri Casspi this summer does anyone think he would thrive as their starting SG next to Carmelo and Billups? There was a calling for Caspi this season and it is reported he wants out of Sacramento so it is likely they can make a small trade to bring him here, me myself IDK much about him just a few games where he made some pretty good plays here and there so is there a chance and what would it take to maybe get Caspi and Dalembert from the Anahiem Kings.?

The Knicks seem to want to play Defense when thier on Center Stage. Hopefully the Playoffs is Center Stage to them. They should play hard eveynight but this is a hard Team to love. With a Lineup of Billups-Stoudamire-Melo we should be in everynight. Fields still needs to score as all he does is rebound now. Douglas is good off bench . Williams with his 250 lb frame should make a differnce if theystart him. Let the Playoffs begin so we can see if Knicks are Real.

I have been plagued with this question for sometime and it is who will the next coach of the Knicks be I personally went with Mark Jackson, but if D'antoni is retained then I believe management/ownership will make him hire bring on a defensive minded coach and the coach that I have in mind will be none other than Larry (gran mama) Johnson he get's my nod if there is anyone that understands spring time intensity in New York then it's he and any of the other coaches that guided this team in the nineties plus L.J has been itching to get into the coaching ring for sometime. There really is no need to bring aboard any big name coaches to get this running in the right direction just a few players and a tweaked system. Lastly I believe Larry Johnson can teach Amare a thing or two about post foot movement cause that is what Amare is lacking not really worried about him being a shut down defender he may never be that but his defense has improved blocking wise. I'm not gonna bash Herb Williams cause he is a stand up dude especially since talking with him a few times when I worked at the Garden but he is too reserved for an assistant, NY needs an assistant coach that's goona challenge his players on x's and O's along with a head coach.... Give the guy a shot im sure he will make the best of it!

Gran mama for assistant coach!!! That would be great and if MDA get blown out next year then the Knicks can hire Ewing as the head coach. LJ would definitely command respect from the players. Also, if D'Antoni does get fired next year, look for the Knicks to try and trade Stat for Howard. Not saying they could pull it off but I am sure Dolan thinks he can get it done.

Part of me wonders what kind of head coach Ewing would be! On the topic of swapping Amare for Howard that would be great but the Melo deal kind of broke the Knicks as far as future assets, there is no dominant big man that can measure up with Howard but Amare has been pretty solid for us I wouldn't just give up on him unless it was really beneficial to the team.

UrbanSoldier, I put in the part about Stat for Howard because I actually read it in an Orlando paper. The Orlando new media is worried that Howard is going to leave via free agency and the Magic will get nothing for him. Hence the trade rumor. The article said that if Orlando could not get Howard to sign an extension by the trading deadline next year that the Magic would consider Amare for Howard straight up. That would be huge.

Great game by the Knicks tonight, just wanna know why the hell would D'antoni play Amare over 30min when there is a crucial game tomorrow against Philly? This was a game when you wanna see what you have on the bench for them to get some continuity going, but overall Great game.
