TREFF- Not sure either of these guys are start worthy yet.
Me neither, but I'd rather have Tebow than Palmer even if he was.  I don't particularly like Plamer or the Raider's WR's chances of success, at all, for the rest of the season.  The only reason most of the Raiders drives were maintained was because Campbell would scramble for a first down on second or third and medium-long.  Palmer can't do that, the guy may actually be slower than Drew Bledsoe, given his inability to move around, and the Raiders offensive line not being all that great in pass blocking..I see a lot more three and outs for my Raiders than I do an improved passing game

I haven't checked over the matchups for the week yet but I'll start my picks now:

Week 7 Pick 'Em
Duff vs. Treff -TIE

We're both equally bad, horrible, awful, horrendous, etc.  I wish a loss on neither team.  A tie would be fitting and just this week for these two fantasy football doormats.  And being a fellow doormat, I choose not to wipe my feet.

Good Luck, Treff.  May the less crappy team survive.

Heck, there's a decent chance the winner will catch either me or Joe

Nobody's more than three games back of a playoff spot with eight weeks to go, so everybody's still in it.

Just a thought Treff. I think you might like it.

How about Kickers at ten paces.

Not sure if CBS allows an incomplete roster without giving a zero for the week.  But if it does, how about we battle it out with the only competitive guys on our team and bench everyone but the Kickers?

2 thoughts....

first one: Does anyone have pointers on how I can beat the Foot?

second one:  This trade continues to come to me and I can't get myself to see it in my favor. Its a trade of me getting g.jennings and j.stewart for my V.jax and Willis McGahee.  I like getting jennings but its the rb swap that is stopping me on this one.  Anyone see something I'm not....I'll take 2 cents please Cool

hmmm Vinny vs that guy in Chicago that can't figure out how to spell "Au"..

I'll usually take that bet..the only problem is, it'd really throw off the power rankings..and the way the top guys are tossing that around as a measuring stick, I don't wanna be a cuase in throwing that off kelter

Besides, it'll give me all kinds of loyalty issues to keep me interested this Sunday..Cowboys fan first and foremost (even though I'm a card carrying member of Raider Nation), have Romo going on my money league team, and yet I'm going against him here..I'll be so torn!!

I see Tebow going all Cam Newton at the goal line and McGahee being worth about as much as DWill.

So I don't like either RB going forward, and to me that trade is all about the WRs. I actually like VJAX better, but do how you feel.

(and Duff, an illegal lineup will in fact get you a zero)

Dub..this is just my personel opinion, but I'd rather have both VJAX and McGahee than Jennings and JStew.  Although the Rb's are awfully close.

My reasoning behidn the WR's is this--Green Bay is under no pressure whatsoever to force the ball to Jennings, they cna score 30+ without him ever touching the rock.  That's not the case in SD where if VJAX doens't get his looks, the Chargers don't have a  really potent offense.  Now am I saying that VJAX is a better WR than Jennings?  no not really, but I feel he's a more vital piece of the puzzle to his team's success, and therefore will be forcefed the ball more often than Jennings will.  Down the stretch when Green Bay has thier playoff spot sewn up with ease, who knows how badly they'll want Jennings with the ball in his hands.  And SD will be fighting tooth and nail for a wild card or maybe the divisional title, VJAX will shine, becuase he has to.

But that's jsut my opinion on the deal, I wouldn't do it, but I'm sure many others feel Jennings is the second coming.

Thanks guys for the thoughts...I agree on both ends so was working a deal to get D.Bowe and Tolbert from another owner at the same time for Vjax and Willis but now that owner wants Willis for Tolbert only.  I think Tolbert is the safe bet in our PPR league as I know what he does and can do.  For Willis I know his numbers have been solid so far but with new qb and I don't like a player on a team that seems confused at this time.

So long story short sorry midwest long winded kicked in...wisconsin boy Cool....  willis straight up for tolbert.  I say yes...anyone with me?

I would agree that McGahee will loose value as tebow will steal some of the rushing yards.

For someone who's drafted RBs were DWill, Reggie Bush, Spiller, Ronnie Brown and Ben Tate, and whose QBs were Kolb and Flacco, it's surprising that Foot is still in this thing at all.

Hey DUB, I don't think I would so that deal. I love Jennings but I call that even and until we know for sure how much Tebow will effect McGahee(I know, I know, less carries, loses goal line stuff, etc.) he is still playing like he wants to be the starter for the rest of the year. At least you know the Broncos will be running the ball alot where as seems like Mr. Newton is just slingin it all over the place.

Hey Will, don't sell Flacco short, he's had like um, a good game. Actually I have to agree with you though, he has done well on the wire. Good job Foot! I knew I shold have kept Graham last week................

Carefull TREFF, his defense is stiffling and held me under 60 points! Was kinda like that Monday Night game about 20 years back, think it was the Giants and the Redskins where the final score was like 6-3.
