Message Board Braggin' Rights League

November 9, 2011 3:55 pm

(Ominous ghostly moaning is heard as the lights flicker on and off)

POOOOOF!!!!!!

(A flash of light)

(Out from a cloud of smoke steps Duff)

Ta-Daaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well gentlemen, I'm back from the Great Beyond.

Whither Duff? I bet that guy does something crazy with his weekends like going camping with his family.
Close on that one Wil.  Took the kids up to Cleveland to see the grandparents for the weekend this last Thursday.  Just before we left, as I was checking the weather report for the weekend on-line, the power source on my computer died on me.  Figured I'd just make any changes on Sunday around noon before the games started on my parents' computer.  Guess what?  Their cable/internet went out  and didn't come back on until 10 minutes after the games had started.  I just chalked it up as "what is meant to be is meant to be" when it came to changing my fantasy lineups.  Can't complain much.  I won every game but in this league.

Thanks Sam - you too. This is a huge week for both of us and for most of us. I need this game more than you! So kindly lay down a clunker for me so I can stay in this thing. Last week was a hreatbreaker. Like I said Bush all week then I seconded guessed him. That won't happen again.

I like what I saw from CJ. Just need Jenkins to pick up where he left off against green bay and I might have a shot. I dont know what to do at the 2 other wr spots. Bey looks like an after thought after Ford got all the love from Carson. That darn treff keeps getting all the good waiver wire pick ups for being in last place. But, if anyone wants tate or Beanie for a solid number 1/2 wr let's talk!

I would call OHIO the great beyond actually I wouldn't use the word great before or after saying OHIO...

WHO was that on this message area that had the IDEA of a divison all-star week matchup?  We tweaked the idea and will be using it.  So wanted to give props to that person!?!?

Week 10
Sports Report:

Pull the tractor out of the barn its time to plow the fields. Open the gates to allow the cows access to the barn its milking time. Pull the wagon up its time to unload feed into the silos. Rubber boots over the shoes while the pitch fork is in hand to scrap shit**** off the bed of hay in each stall. The smell of this all is just one scent, the scent of hard-yard work being put in constantly.

Tractors finished laying the tracks for the seeders for another long day which this one turned into night. Milk suction in each stall led the hoses into the bulb tank as the farm hand BOOMERS double checks on one knee all was gathered before unhooking. The barn store houses are filled pull that wagon to the shed and double check the floor bed. Mud room holds the rubber boots, the smells of work and the clothes of dirt. While the entry door to the home opens to scent of family food time.

Quote of the week is:
Genesis 1:29
And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.

Here ya go

DUB over Boomer in a closer than advertised game, but guess who is the difference?
Sam over Foot where the trade really hurts this week as you will see when "The evil looking avi" scores a ton.
TREFF over Lefty where a high scoring affair is in order. Wonder what The Fudpuckers might do with Darrin "I sprained my vulva again" McFadden
Will over Joe I like Steven Jackson and Dez Bryant in this one
Fuzzies over Duff
And in the upset special of the week, One4 over Scape in a high scoring game.............
There ya go, good luck to all, even Foot.

Why thank you! I never turn down a compliment! And yes, it is pretty cool just a couple of tips. Do it after byes and don't do it during a division week...............sucks to be rooting fo the guy thats gonna win for you in one game and kick you ass in the other.

I knew it'd be a genius like you who would have shared such an idea!! haha.

I agree on both tips you shared.

We will be putting a MONEY prize on the line and see which of the 3 divisons can come out on top.  Nice added new wrinkle for the fellas.  Cool

Fuzz over Duff-Lions dst outscores the Lams dst

Wil over Joe- Cameron carries his and Wil's teams to victory

Treff over Lefty- I don't know how Lefty loses so many games with that team but after the trade that should have Treff in jail for sexual assault he has one of the better teams

Sam over Foot- See above. I guess Foot could file a police report but I'm not sure it would go to court since he was a willing participant

Dub over Boom- Dubs got half of the leagues good rbs

Scape over one4- I cannot pick against myself. My wrs better come up BIG this week. Almost every week is a make or break for my team

At this point I think Treff is looking at this as if he just fondled the FOOT and will gladly pay a court fine for the matter.  He understands sexual assault and or worse equals jail time and he doesn't have time to sit behind bars these days...Cool

Ruling is Fondled!!

This is how we are setting it up Sam and if anyone else is thinking of doing it down the road this may help as a spot for you to do your own tweeks but give props to the Wise One....Cool

**Division All-Star Week Match-up Contest**

1. Within your division the team owner who Ranks highest in the Power Ranking will be the Captain.
2. The captain will report to the Commish the final line-up as well as He has the final line-up submitting power.
3. Each division will set fourth what they believe is the best players OUT OF ALL THEIR TEAMS at: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, Flex, TE, K, D our normal line up.
4. MUST HAVE at least 1 starting player from each team on the final roster.
5. All line-ups must be submitted before normal locked kick-off times for each player.
6. If a starting player is ruled out for a game, He can only be replaced by a player who has NOT yet played in a game from within your division owners and plays that same position.
7. Once each division submits that line-up for the week chosen, all 3 divisions go head to head and winner is by who gets the most team total points.
8. MONEY Prize will be awarded to ALL team owners in the Winning All-Star Team Division.
9. All rules, scoring, tie breakers, etc…are our regular rules.
A. Tip for captains: Go to LEAGUE HOME tab on our main page, now select TEAM OWNERS-this will give you each owners email address. Now go to your email account and create a group email and have each owner REPLY ALL with thoughts/line-ups to have a easy-quick-successful interaction.
B. Final Thought we will try our best to do our All-Star game on a week there is NO Byes and also NOT during our Division Head to Head match-ups as that would cause rooting for player issues.

The Fudpuckers official stance is that they'll always listen to anything that they think may improve the ballclub.

One4 over Scape-this is basically just a guess on my part here, I'm not even sure where CBS is getting their three points, on paper, this is about as even as it gets-that and a Scape loss helps me out Embarassed

Dub over Boomer- Rodgers is just that damned good

Sam over Foot- with a full game of Tebow spread offense footage, the Chiefs won't be surprised liek the Riaders were, and without a huge game from Johnson, there's just no hope

Average Joe over Knuckles-all htose injuries proves just to much to overcome

Fuzzies over Duff- we've seen Romo without Austin Miles, and its not nearly as good as Romo with Austin Miles.  I"m still cherring for ya though Duff, beat those Fuzzies and help me out

Treff of Lefty-  similar to the first prediciton, this is just an all out guess, so I may as well bet on myself.

By the way, Sam, you said you must be the worst coach in the league. You're only third worst. The actual worst coach (coach-ratings-wise, anyway) is DUB, who's 7-2 despite trotting out all the wrong guys. Spooky.

Thanks for pointing that out buddy! Funny thing is(ans since I'm not at home and this computer sucks I really can't have two windows open at once) I'm pretty sure the coaches rating is a % of points on the bench........so, if you have a really strong team your coach rating would go down..........I think.Lol.
