Sam of Does Anyone Remember I Made the Playoffs Last Year?

If I remeber correctly, Sam is not the only playoff team from last year that has turned in a less-than-playoff effort this year.
In addition to Sam:

Fuzzy and DUB (Champ) are both below .500, and One For Golf didn't even return for a second season.

It should be tough to dominat year after year in this league and the Barbarians sure seem to be holding up their end too.

Stephen Jackson- splitting carries with Richardson
Jonathan Dwyer-splitting carries with Redman
Chris Givens-up against the SF defense

I would go with Givens. Rams will be throwing a lot IMO. I think Redman sees the bulk of the carries (that's why I am starting that turd in our league over Givens) and just can't trust SJax against that D.

Speaking of turds, check out this segment (you know, sometimes turds come in pieces). I can play one of these guys and wouldn't have to play either of them if DeMarco Murray would ever get better.

Leshoure
Daniel Thomas
Hartline
Givens
Reece

I am positive one of these guys will have at least a decent day but hard to figure out which one. The rest of THAT team is solid as a rock. Right now I have Leshoure in but surely the Vikes aren't gonna let Leshoure do the "Doug Martin" on them, right?

Fuzzy, I'd go w/ Dwyer. May not seem like a logical choice? But I don't think the Steelers were all that impressed with Redman. And if KC doesn't get "up" for the Monday Night game, then this game could be over in the first half. Which means that Dwyer and Redman will be running out the clock in the second half. Plus Dwyer has more yards then Redman in much fewer attempts (58 vs 76).

Sam, I like Leshoure. Maybe he's only had one good week so far. But some teams play better in the second half of the season. And maybe the Lions are this year's team to do that? Leshoure has no other challengers. Plus, Minny might be losing some of it's defensive dominance. In the the last 3 weeks, the Vikings have allowed an average of 138 yards to RB. And in the last 4 weeks, they've allowed at least 1 rushing TD.
Good Luck everybody. That goes for your own individual money leagues too. This is a big make or break week for me in two other big money leagues and probably for a lot of you as well as we enter the home stretch towards the playoffs. Fantasy football is not long enough and I can all ready feel the fear creeping up the back of my neck knowing that the season is closing in fast and we'll have no football one day soon. But! Today AIN'T that day so enjoy today with everything you got my fellow fantasy football maniacal connoisseur soul mates. Enjoy the effen heck out of it!

After eight weeks of Barbarian domination, the Keepers of the Flame rose up to defend their honor last week, and have already secured a victory this week as well, leading by 21 points with all the players left to play that the Barbarians have, plus Suisham.

And I think Sam may have to rethink his bottom-of-the-barrel QB approach. Yowza. As I pointed out in the live scoring chat, he has 10 points COMBINED over the past three weeks from his QBs. (Enough to slip past Scape, though.)

just imagine if the idiot on top of the power ranking had started Dalton, Maclin and DHB instead of Romo, Hilton, and Welker..we could've gained some real ground!! Not to mention he wouldn't have lost the matchup!

Well, Eli was good until I got him............what REALLY pisses me off is I had Rapeandmurder ranked way ahead of Schaub and I still don't know why I drafted Schaub in front of him! That glaring mistake cost me at least 2 games.

BTW, I need a QB to cover Sheli's bye. Not much on the wire. Anybody wanna make a deal for a QB I will pick up whoever you may want on the wire and will throw in Reece or maybe Richardson (not Trent) depending on who the QB is................good game Scape! I still can't believe I won. I keep looking at your roster not believing you don't have anybody left.

Yeah, Remorsefulberger was definitely your value pick at QB - you had him 7th (exactly where is, btw) while his ADP was 13. You had Schaub 14th while his ADP was 15th, so... dude, yeah, you should have listened to yourself.

I have him on 3 of 4 teams.................8-2, 7-3, 6-4. I think my record in this league if I would have drafted him would be 4-6. The 7-3 team isn't really 7-3 quite yet. I figure it to be 50/50 as I have Steelers D, Big Ben and Miller going and I'm down 28. Havent lost in the 6-4 league yet either I just need about 100 points (not kidding) between Ben and Redman.............lol.

BTW Will, not sure how much of the Chargers Bucs game you got to see but Rivers underthrew DAX for a pick that looked like at least a 50 yard completion and maybe would have been a 90 yard TD........................trade ya for him...........lmao!

Rivers underthrew DAX

Pretty harsh criticism Sam, Rivers was in Tampa Bay and DeSean Jackson was in Philly..that's a really deep passs, only a handful of player can make that throw

I think he's referring to Danario Alexander, not DeSean.

-- I might look at an offer of a QB for one of my WR, if anyone's interested....
