Are you required to keep a kicker?  If not, it is a pretty easy decision to drop Bironas and keep Mathews.

To answer your original question, in a league with so many keepers, you have to keep Luck.  All the other top QBs will be kept and Luck has elite potential.  He may have more keeper value than anybody else on your roster.  Based on his performance this year, it is very realistic to think he can be an elite fantasy QB for a long time.  He could anchor your team for the next 12 years.

If you have another strong QB, I would trade the other guy for a pick.

Hi guys. I finally get a day off tomorrow (Sunday). I probably won't be posting much now that the fantasy season is nearly over. But who knows? After the last NFL game, I may start compiling my "usage" numbers.

In any case, I wanted to say that I had a blast playing in the MBBRL (again). It was all of you guys that make it worth the while. Hope you have a great off-season!

I see that Lefty is up against Fuzzy for the championship game. Both have nice rosters and interesting matchups. But I'm thinking that Lefty wins it. Of course, most of my predictions have gone awry this year. So my apologies to Lefty if that's the kiss-o-death.

Roddy White finished the game last night, logged in to my CBS account, looked at my roster and laughed.

COULDN'T DO THAT LAST WEEK RODDY!!??

... I know, should have just stuck with Decker ... how's that for karma, or irony, or just plain bullsheet!

Just a note from last nights game - Calvin Johnson is a man playing with boys.  What a mismatch he is to normal humans !!  So much for the Madden curse. ............

Just a note from last nights game - Calvin Johnson is a man playing with boys.  What a mismatch he is to normal humans !!  So much for the Madden curse. ............

Johnson did break the all-time rec yards in a year record and is hands down best WR in the NFL without a doubt, real argument is who's number 2. But Johnson's fantasy year this year was a disappointment from the numbers he had last year. I knew there was no way he was going to repeat but he had a huge reduction in TDs. He had 16 last year now with only one weke left in the year he stands with 5 TDs.

So for a first round pick to be honest I would have been disappointed with Calvin.  The better value was Marshall and Green, even Julio in the early 3rd.

Also as I look around in all my leagues I don't see anyone playing in the championship with Calvin on there team. He had such a slow start that if you drafted him late 1st, early 2nd it was a struggle for your team in first half of the year and by the time he got going it was already too late..

The record I am forward to see be attempted to break is the all-time rushing yards in a season by Adrian. I feel in heavy passing league which the NFL is today this record would be far more impressive then Calvins.

Don't disagree Ram - but what I was getting out is the pure physical size & speed of the guy again the average corner.  Not to knock Stafford (well a little - I hate that side-arm, off-balance stuff he does) but imagine what the guy could do with Brady, Rodgers, Brees or Peyton.  First round pick, not for me, but I wouldn't hesitate in the second.

As for Peterson, he's proven he is not human coming back from a late season major injury to threaten the yardage total.  Yes, that would be more impressive in todays NFL, coupled with the fact he is all the Vikings have.

Of course, the season has not always been 17 weeks either.  Something to think about on all single season records.

Agree 100% with that. I mentioned him on another thread as an underachiever this year. With that said 8 receptions to the 1 yard line. That's basically 8 yards to a monster season. In "real" football this guy is a crazy beast monster superstar.
