Now Nebraska.  This could be good or bad.

Week 1 we stuffed Eastern's running game at only 31 yards, but then again why run when you can pass for 470+.  Week two we did a little better against the pass and a little worse against the run.  On the plus side both Hawaii and Eastern Washington have passing games better than Nebraska and YES I mean Eastern Washington is better at passing the ball.  On the negative side neither Eastern Washington or Hawaii is anywhere close to the running game Nebraska brings to the table.

It will be interesting to see just what sort of start we can get of to against Nebraska.  Chris Polk will need another big game and so will Jenkins (our freshman TE).  Price will have to maintain his composure in what is sure to be a very hostile enviroment.  All I want a a folk attempt at a FG for the win whether he makes it or not ( I like my chances when he kicks).

Anyway Husky fans enjoy today, we're 2-0

Yes sir, 2-0. What a feeling. I think we can surprise Nebraska. It seems like we do a better job against teams that run than teams with spread offenses. Both Eastern and Hawaii run similar offenses. I think we will beat Nebraska, and crack the top 25 for the first time in a long time. Either way, it's gonna be fun! Lets go Dawgs!

UW will score, but can they limit the mistakes often made especially by younger players on their first road trip and can the defense contain Martinez as well as they did Moniz while also getting better on pass coverage? This next game will be their first test of the year versus a running team and while our D was built around having some bigger guys to address running this will be the first test for them and what a tall one it will be. Nebraska on the road is never easy, but with a young team we will have our hands full.

If this game was at home I might have more hope we could win, but this game this early leaves me with the feeling we come home with a 2-1 record and ready for Cal to come to town.

Come on Wizard Hawk! We can do this. I like our chances in this one. I don't think Nebraska is going to push us around like they did last year at the beginning of the season. I think we are going to push them around like we did in the Holiday Bowl last season. We look good against the run. The two spread offenses we played would have any team looking kinda silly. It's not going to be easy, but I think Sark has a gameplan containing a lot of Chris Polk down Nebraska's throat, and I BARK FOR SARK!

If we can pull this off, does this mean top 25? I think if we can pull off this win at Nebraska, we should be. I'm getting ahead of myself, but I can't help it. I know it's early, but this Keith Price looks very accurate. In the first game against EWU he was hitting receivers but they couldn't hold on to the football, then he sprained his knee. He is throwing a 70% completion percentage. Dude looks the part, may end up better than my boy Jake Locker when it's all said and done, don't kill me for that! Go HUSKIES!

You guys are dillusional.  Nebraska is going to wipe the floor with you.  Yeah get excited about beating EASTERN WASHINGTON and HAWAII.  Wooo hooo.  I guess it's better than losing to a little brother and a brah'.  Uduh fans make me smile.

"If we win maybe the top 25"....ooooh don't cream your underoos there Fusky boy.  At this point WSU looks way better than you guys do.  See you later in the year when Oregon wins over UW for the 9th straight year! meh.

hey look. Quacks made an appearance. You going to vanish again when Stanford kicks your ass?

I know putting 69 up on Nevada inspires you to come back and open your pie hole, but lets be honest. The Cougars have looked better than the Ducks to this pt as well.

And you're the moron that guaranteed EWU would kick our ass.

Run along. You've been outted as a dummy over and over.

I can always count on Iron breaker to carry the Fusky banner.  Let me see, you were 1 incompletion in the endzone from losing to EASTERN WASHINGTON at home.  I know, I know, they are a very good JV team.

I don't troll Uduh message boards but when you retards come on here and break your arms patting yourselves on the back for beating 2 crummy teams well then, I have to say something.

Why don't you run back to the Seattle PI and slobber over each other there.  Trust me, nobody reads that liberal trash.  Enjoy being 2-0 for a week.  Then its back to 2-1, 2-2, 2-3...you get the point.

Hey, the way my Skers are playing UW could very well come into Lincoln and beat NU. This is the worst I've seen them in many years, going back to Callacants last year. No heart, no emotion, the all world defense gave up 444 yards and 21 points to Fresno, the offense looks sluggish and confused.

If NU wins, it won't be by much.

Good luck UW! Go Big Red!!

Well, I'm from Massachusetts, where Oregon (the state) is known as "the poor man's Washington"

Inferiority complex would be my guess.

I think today at Oregon's practice, LSU might show up and take the ball away from them just for fun.

@wazzufan

Well. THEY want it to be a rivalry. Honestly Huskies don't care, I just don't like their fans because they are arrogant wannabes who DO troll husky boards all over the internet including the PI (lol @ quacks, you're so pathetic). Our rival is USC.

Its cool though if Ducks want to make beating the Huskies the highlight of their season/history. We got bigger fish to fry.

As far as the liberal comment goes, I grew up in Husky land, fell in love with the sport before I knew what a politician was. I've lived all over the NW including Oregon and many other places in the US, and they are and always will be my team, and I am proudly NOT a liberal pos.

Always fun to have our stoned friends from the south share their wealth of football knowledge with us.

Oregon fans are just upset because they still don't have any NT's and haven't won a rose bowl since 1917 and it is looking more and more likely that they reach the century mark on that record. They had their one shot and blew it and of course their fans want to take it out on everyone else. Oregon is at beast a 9-3 team this year and most of them must know it. Stanford will destroy them and there will be an upset somewhere along the way.

By the way, has anyone woke up your QB yet? Is he still passed out in the back of someone's vehicle? Seems he has a habbit of that. How's that $25k recruit working out for you? Oregon buys players and still can't win a title lolz. Who's the joke? Yeah, thought so.

Hey Wizard, what is "At beast a 9-3 team".  UW would kill to win 9 games.  Something you haven't done in about a decade.  I love how you always pull out the almanac and point to your 1/2 a championship from the early 90s.  That is what loser programs do.  You have nothing going for you now so point to the past.  Husky fans sound like a bunch of 40 year olds sitting in a bar talking about high school days.

And Husky fans shouldn't cast stones when talking about player troubles.  How many middle school girls did Husky players buy alcohol this week?

The Huskies are irrelevant in college football (the whole state of Washington really).  Nobody knows them or cares.  Keep hating on Oregon because that's all you have.  It's not like you can cheer on a UW victory over Oregon...ba ha hah a haha!

The Huskies are irrelevant in college football...
Washington
All time record: 664–414–50 (.611)
Bowl record:16–14–1 (.533)
National titles: 1 (1991)

Oregon
All time record: 555–468–47 (.541)
Bowl record: 9-24 (.375)
National titles: 0

How's that feel?

oh boy, another douche with an almanac.  Do you see on the line in 1991 where it says Georgia Tech champion and UW champion?  That would be 1/2 a title for UW to none for Oregon...man we are getting killed!

Did you notice the 8 straight years of beating UW by 20 or more points?  Thanks again for the HISTORY lesson.  It's all UW has to keep them warm at night.
